Sony Xperia Z2 vs HTC One (M8) 

Everyone has their own taste!My Opinion is that the Sony Xperia Z2 is better!!I like it because it has a slightly larger battery a more premium look and a Fantastic Camera!!And the Sony UI is my most favourite UI Ever because It is very neat and stylish and elegant than the Sense UI.However HTC One M8 has bettter speakers than the z2 but it is not a huge matter for me because I would be rather hearing to songs using Headphones!And the z2 has noise-cancelling tech in it!!I think that HTC must improve their Camera.☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

I hate metal phones, I hope LG g3 doesn't come with metal. Z2 is awesome I like glass (a bit fragile) These Tec reviewers always think metal is better because it's has more premium feel.

ABSOLUTELY M8 is the best!!!!

With people who like attention to detail i think the Xperia Z2s overexposure of colors might irk a bit,which is the case both with its Display and Camera Captures. HTC One M8 seems a step back from Xperia Z2 considering it doesnt pack the same specs in quite a few departments such as Battery and Especially Camera but with people who like attention to detail it holds the advantage with being Snappier and its Display and Camera capturing accurate colors hence being easier on the eyes. I personally Luv Sony Xperia phones cos they are all about quality and price their products more satisfactorily than most brands but if they were to provide with an added option to switch to Accurate Color Display aside from their own Customized Color Saturation/Exposure Display i would luv Xperias even more. Samsung Galaxys and Motorolas(since google takeover) are all about advertising,its Sony Xperias and HTC that are truly quality driven,top class and top of the heap Smartphone Brands.

What does Xperia have that the HTC doesnt? 1) Waterproof 2) 20MP Cam 3) 600mAh more battery than One m8. 4) 1GB more RAM than One m8 What does HTC have that xperia doesn't? 1) Infrared Blaster 2) Better speakers and call quality 3) Duo Camera Feature Conclusion: Xperia Z2 is a more COMPLETE DEVICE but if you like to show off your phone, you simply have to take your One m8 out of your pocket and people will notice it, This is not the case with Z2. People might still think its Z1 or Z since both have same build. My choice: HTC One m8

I say that all the time but it's true and kinda sad. The only damn downside to the One M8 is the camera. I hope HTC abandon this ultrapixel thing and go for a higher megapixels camera.

Z2, this is the return of SONY. Z2 compact would be much better though if it was going to be out in the US

the m8 is actually waterproof simply because of how good it's build quality is it can survive a few hours in water with no damage

xperia z2 for me. oh and everyone is so hyped for the lg g3 simply because of its display but seriously we don't need qHD(2k) on phones unless its like 9"+ in display.

wow so apperantly m8 is bad because it's of metal, it's also apperantly bad because it doesnt have a 20mp camera, it's also bad because it's the fastest phone out, oh wait, it actually is the fastest, you guys are just absolutely mind blowing, i bet you didnt even see the m8 in person or the z2 for that matter and you come trash talking, 10/10

I'm still very impressed with the xperia z1

If Sony made their UI more efficient the Z2 would be perfect. Google should just make stock android available for download in the play store, even if it costs $5 or so.

I like the Brushed aluminum affect.. aluminum ftw ... My mate sent the Sony z2 back and got the m8 because the camera on the z2 was overheating .

I would choose the z2 for it's waterproof features. However, i admit the m8 is the better phone here.

even Z2 has double touch unlocking system, it has also the backlight system and you also forgot about 4k

HTC one m8 is nice except for the camera if its not important for you.

On the paper Sony has better ram, much bigger battery, larger screen, 20MP camera. But really is trat Htc m8 is faster, look at screen at 7:49 z2 has horrible display colours, batter is battery on z2 it is fantastic, but not that much, camera is slightly better on z2, speakers are better on m8 but z2 also has nice speakers, build quality is better on m8 it is far more durable, but z2 has water resistant.

ya Z2 that is stereo sound nice i hear a nice and clear melody suit the elegant violin and minato song because that is clear and detailed analysis stereo melody sound but sound small than M8~M8 BoomSound nice boom big sound suit the rock and hit hop but no nice analysia melody~

btw, ur wrong about something, u can also double tap on the sony to wake it up, and its even better on the sony. The htc must be picked up to wake it up with double tap while the sony u dont. So get ur facts right!

I'm having HTC one M8 and my friend Had Z2. He always complain from overheat specially when he turn on the camera. although nothing can compete the HTC sound quality and volume . He sold it after three days of use . Sorry Sony you still have problems to solve

definately Z2 is the best flagship right now untill lg G3, note4 and Xperia Z3 come up.

so... Sony Xperia Z2 or HTC One M8? hehe for those who have tested/used M8's camera, is it really a deal breaker?

I think z2 is too big. The HTC is also larger than I'd like. I'll wait for the lg g3 and maybe the z2 mini before I decide which to upgrade to from my HTC one m7. All the new phones are just too big for average sized hands and they don't give the option of something smaller with the same specs. Oppo find 7, z2, m8, one +1, s5 etc. Maybe the next Motorola will be waterproof and 4.5 ~4.7 inches

These phones will be outdated in a few months. Guys, wait for HTC one m8 prime and note 4. Both phones will come with snapdragon 805 CPU and android 4.5 or maybe even 5.0

Why the xperia z2 have so much less score in benchmarks than the m8 they have the same hardware just 3,gb vs 2gb from m8 i dont get it why m8 wins by a lot in points to z2 :/ can any tell me why?
