Awesome tutorial! Can you tell which store u bought the LCD? And if the screen have the same quality of the original? Because in every store that i researched in aliexpress had negative comments about the quality :\
For the first timers - I certainly do not recommend you to disassemble it. Too many places where to fuck up - glass back cover, speaker, those flex cables (especially the one with many branches), not to mention LCD and digitizer. When I dissasembled it, I got a feeling that it is surely a disposable one. I've done numerous Samsung and LG phones, also Iphones - I've never experienced such a mess with replacing LCD/digitizer.
This looks hard. I bought one with a frame instead. I used to buy the screen only, but it broke after a few months. Probablybdue to my lack of skills. This time, i just buy the lcd together with the frame and transfer over the components.
What is the component near the blue cable? I got my Z3 can't power on, must connect to the charger and it's booting, but after Sony logo, it's automatically powered off and then going back on, and then off again. The LED indicator is always red. Before that happened, my Z3 always power off when I started to tilt it to the left from horizontal position. Can you tell me what's going on?
Goodday I just want to ask on why my newly change sony z3 lcd screen digitizer has no image on screen, its turn on but the screen is empty but the backlight is on. Please help me if whats the poblem Many thanks
Could you PLEASE help me with an issue? i've bought an used Xperia Z3 whose internals look just like yours, except it's missing that long plastic part with the two metal stripes that is on the top middle part of the phone, right beside the camera. I'm not sure, but I THINK it's maybe a GPS antenna or something because my phone works just fine except for the fact that I can't get my GPS to lock onto a satellite no matter what. I only managed once for a few seconds. For reference, you are holding this exact piece I'm talking about precisely at 6:13 in your hand. Do you know it's name or where I could find one? Please help me here because I'm kinda helpless :/. Thanks and you just got a new subscriber!
The blue cable is there and it's fine. The blue cable controls the phone's reception, right? I can make and receive calls just fine. Only my GPS can't get a fix on a satellite. That plastic piece I told you about is the one my phone is missing :/

First of all you are using your fingers instead of a tweezer tool and also glue instead of the adhesive for fixing the parts where they belong. Crappy handwork, very aweful
