Thank you so much for this. This is literally one of the best videos for explaining the particulars for picture profiles for the zve10. I came from a canon system and dialing in these specs were much easier. Many content creators only go into the PP files, but don’t explore this area for new users. It allows a little more freedom to adjust settings as we see fit. Thanks again!
BRO, its help me a lot! i have sigma 16mm, but with wrong setting it kind a suck. i tried your setting and all my day is SAFE! thank u very much!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
as a beginner filmmaker, this was incredibly useful. i really appreciate that you showed the difference each setting made to the clips. this was a great and helpful video. thank you!! :)
Thank you so much for this useful information! I just bought my the ZV E10 and thank to your videos I am starting to understand picture profiles, and to just go out side and test what is that I would like to see in the things that I want to create, thanks! you gave me the perspective that it is ok to test!.
@@VilkanVisions while your at it also a tutorial on how to shoot product b roll? 😂 this is my first camera and i am just so confused how everything works 😅
Awesome video and results as always! Thanks for the video! But i have one question, for you, why is better use pp off, instead of like, cine 4 or cine 2? Thanks already!
@@VilkanVisions oh nice!! Thank you!! I've been doing the S-Log 3 like you showed, and it's giving great results here! I'll test this PP off config out too!
Fantastic thank you I was usually using Neutral with -3 contrast on my A7III and A6600. Never though using DRO for video, that's pretty cool. Did you mess around the neutral profile for more DR? thanks for sharing your work!
@Vilkan Visions Anytime! question, i have the Sony ZV-E10 and want to Siruis anorphoc lens? i wanted to know if in the setting the camera had aps-c 4k support to avoid croping the video.
Are these settings good for vlogging day to day life ? And also does it give me the chance to do color grading in post production if i want a more cinematic look?
Are these settings good for vlogging if i just want to grab my camera and film? And also does it give me the chance to do color grading in post production if i want a more cinematic look?
Cześć and Hi Kamil, can I have a question? Do the settings you show here also apply when you film in SLog3, or do you use different settings then? I really like what you proposed in this video - I filmed all day today and I really like the effect. At the end of the day I decided to set the contrast to "-2", but that's the only difference. However, like you in other videos I would like to try SLog 3. So what now? Should I go back to default settings and just change the mode to SLog 3? Are you changing anything else there or just simply SLog3 straight out of the box? Thank you
@@VilkanVisions Yes, I already saw it. You know, I will stay for now with these setting what you shown here. With SLog3 there is probably a bit too much things for someone like me, who starts his video adventure. But for the future I know that SLog is the way to go. Thanks Kamil once again.
Thank you for this. Would these setting also work on a sony rx100 v? I’m getting the zve10 but already have the rx100x and would love to get more use out of it.
You're welcome, I didn't test it so I can't guarantee but it should work on most Sony cameras, maybe you would have to tweak it a little bit 🙂 Although only for videos, for photos I would just shoot raw.
Considering the newer colour science in zve10, will your settings of zve10 produce similar look/colour on the old a6000 with that same Standard profile?
These setting don't change colors, only luma to get more dynamic range so it should work with a6000 too. Colors may differ of course, I don't have a6000 right now to compare them.
Man, why'd you decrese the detail in "creative style"? In PP8 settings already has -7 points of detail. Is it necessary to do it in creative style as well?
Yes it was recorded with pp off, I compared these settings to slog3 in this video so you can see the difference. I recommend you watch this whole video and my Slog3 workflow video on this channel.
So need to color grade after shooting with this method correct? Also, why is it that these settings look good for video but when I switch to photo mode the noise is really bad even though it's the exact same settings? (I'm new to cameras lol)
Color grading is not always needed, it depends on your needs, these settings gives you basic look with more dynamic range then standard settings. I would not use it for photos, it's better to just shoot raw and edit in post.
@@VilkanVisions Thanks! I still get noisy photos though. I have my ISO at 100 and it still looks very grainy. Im shooting 4k24fps and using shutter priority with 1/50. The aperture shifts around a little bit in ZV-E10 but I still don't get why the photos look so noisy. Any ideas? Is it just poor lighting indoors?
@@TheMaan2008 Sorry but I'm still confused, You mean with a lot of dynamic range or for HDR standard? Because I record and deliver for SDR not HDR, 100% of the time. I share my settings for the most dynamic range from zv-e10 in my slog3 workflow video :)
Yes it have less contrast then standard, so if you want to apply constrast in post that might work for you, I used that on my a6000 but here I want to get better image straight out of the camera 🙂 It will have different ratio with highlights and shadows, I want better highlight roll off. Second thing is that standard has more accurate colors than portrait. For the best DR I still recommend slog3.
