I immediately told my wife that if it is not a emergency you are under no circumstances to let Cops into our home. They should have never been in the home at all. She may have been going through something, she may not have but at no point was it needed for them to pull out their firearms when they had a way out and did not have to stand their ground. Can boiling water be used as a weapon? YES....However, this was not a issue at all when you had space to react. I go all day, everyday avoiding interactions that may not suite me. While I understand that it is their job to potentially be put in danger, when they intentionally put themselves in erroneously perceived danger then there should be no protections offered to you. This woman was no threat.

To make it even worse the cops tried to cover it up by informing the family it was an intruder that broke into the house and shot her. The Whole Police Department should be under investigation.

Every person in this country should be in the same page about this senseless murder. No matter your color, your religion and definitely no matter your politics . If you try to justify this then you didnt watch the video. If you try to justify this murder as a law enforcer then you are the same as this cop and should immediately be removed and never be able to serve in any dept. There is ZERO ZERO ZERO JUSTIFICATION!!! Just a sick senseless straight up murder. 😢😢😢😢😢😢 My condolences to this family that does not deserve this nightmare. My heart cries for you! ❤

Qualified immunity is the problem. Qualified immunity is a Supreme Court ruling for limiting victims of violence and misconduct from holding officers accountable when they violate a person's constitutional rights. Isn't that against the law of the land, the Constitution, which makes it illegal to do so?

This story is heartbreaking and this deputy should be charged accordingly. That being said you ever notice how these kinds of news stories are promoted and pushed out my MSM whenever we're close to an election? If we weren't close to an election most of us would probably never hear about this story on a national level.

A guy told my sister years ago that he became a cop so now he can beat people up and get away with it

The cop told her to turn off the stove so there wouldn't be a fire in the house. When she took the pot off the stove, he threatened to sh**t her in the face, bc she said, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus." Once he pointed his weapon at her, she freaked out, raised her hands, and ducked for safety. As she goes to grab the pot that was by the sink of running water, he fires his weapon 3 times in her face. She's not dead yet, but they leave her there to bleed out, barely breathing. This is so fn tragic...my heart aches for that woman and her family. Please pray for protection for her family. That type of policing has gone on for 40yrs. Ik from experience and family history of law enforcement from that city. RIP Ms. Massey.

Been I’ve been in law enforcement for 25 years, under no circumstances is this justified. I don’t like to Monday morning QB any other officer, but he could had time and space to take cover or retreat. This wasn’t an imminent threat like a knife or firearm.
