Merkin Concert Hall(New York) November 16, 2016 SooBeen Lee, violinist Noreen Polera, pianist Giuseppe Tartini Violin Sonata in G Minor, "Devil's Trill" I. Larghetto affettuoso II. Allegro (Tempo giusto) III. Andante - Allegro
SooBeen Lee ROCKS! ❤️🎻 I fell in love with her the first time I saw her playing Vivaldi's Summer! She was only 12 then, and a huge inspiration to me! Perfect interpretation, technique, and she plays from the HEART with emotion!!!! Thank you :-) ❤️🎻
SooBeen Lee, is easily showing the promise she showed as a little girl. Extraordinary playing, equal to any one. She is the violinist I would want to hear above any other living today.
Flawless! I loved her Wieniawski's variation during the final Menuhin international competition which was an unbelievable performance by eight year old girl. Couldn't believe how such a cute little girl was able to produce such mature tone and interpretation.
I love the rubati in the Grave parts and the FORCE! where called for. No mercy for that poor violin... Lots of heart in this combined with a rich tone throughout.
Please, Soobee Lee, Play for us: partita for violin solo no. 2 I n D minor, BWV 1004? I'm sure it will be amazing with your style. Who agrees, support it...
Your prayers have been heard, at least in part - the Chaconne: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ft9xnxpFGjg.html Unfortunately audio and video are not in synch (sound is about 0.2 seconds ahead of video). And yes, it is amazing. I have it besides Szeryng and Shoji as my favourite interpretations.
A great praise! Like a clear and bright stream, very pleasant to hear. I listened to her repeatedly and liked it very much. What could be more remarkable and more simple than her?I don't think so.
Talent and training, not to mention being beautiful...all the best variables in place. Give gratitude to Almighty God for what you have been given, and stay humble.
No pressure on the guy that turns the pages for the pianist. Lol. I'd be pretty nervous. Mess around and accidentally turn two pages or pull the book down off the stand. Other than that, this sounded nice.
