It has a lot to do with culture actually; in some countries is considered impolite but in others (like in Korea) it can sometimes mean you're just really enjoying the food
I get that, thats why i only follow a small amount of asmr mukbang channels. The theres a few of non eating asmr channels that i love to watch more often than that tho
I thought that was proper etiquette lol? I also eat without making noise and keep me mouth closed when chewing. Tbh I get kinda grossed out when the ppl who are eating with me chews with their mouth open 😭
@@stacyzanavich4451 omg same!!! i used to get anxiety attacks every time i ate dinner with my family and cry after :( but it actually really helps if you listen to white noise when you have to hear people eat!! i only get a little anxious sometimes bc the white noise helps so much
@@luv4eva1111Omg literally same sometimes I get so frustrated I have a panic attack and cry now I have noise canceling headphones and normal headphones for when I eat around my family
I think in Asia it's okay to make noise while eating (depending on food types, cause that means you're enjoying it well - like Japanese people eating ramen loudly). But yeah, in Europe and elsewhere eating silently is an etiquette thing - even in Korea I guess. So, as much as if it isn't a big deal it's kinda sad that he cares about how he eats, I do think it's a good habit to have and that having etiquette is generally helpful in situations. I do think that Soobin looked cute when he showed how he ate with his mouth open 🤭 But even the way he usually eat is so cute and we'll mannered. Idk how all of TXT are so beautiful when they do anything.
The only asmr videos I watched are cooking asmr. I hate eating asmr cz I hate the sound of chewing. It's basic manner to eat with your mouth shut & being silent.
I can feel you really soobin because my mom also don't like make sounds while eating,my mom says it's a disrespectful behaviour so I also developed to shut my mouth while chewing 😊
Same, that sound is so annoying for me for some reason. My father makes loud chewing noises when eating and I get angry and lose my appetite lol. Then they wonder why I wear headphones at the table
I eat without making noise because I was brought up that way but my sister makes so much noise even with her mouth closed. Dont' get me started when she chews gum.
His dad is jst like my mum Like I too had a habit of eating w my mouth wide open but she was a bit strict w eating etiquettes and now I have misophonia😃
I know people (including myself) don’t like hearing people eat. But I was told by a speech and language therapist that if you can’t stand hearing a specific person eat it means you love them ALOT❤❤.
What??… I don’t like when people around me making noises while eating but I like when txt do it 😭😭😭 that’s means I don’t like them but like everyone?🥴💀
@@jungkai I just liked how he was both praising and dissing his father! We all have similar experiences with parents saying one thing and doing the opposite! 🤣🤣🤣
So there is a Thing! Misophonia - your brain processes particular sounds differently, & those sounds are physically disturbing/distressing/uncomfortable. Chewing is one of the more common sounds this develops with. Westerners in particular - culture affects how we perceive basically all human interaction. This includes chewing & food etiquette. There’s no right or wrong way to eat your food, there’s just cultural stigma.
