I love Shuhua’s personality, she’s very upfront and honest and doesn’t even try to hide her emotions. A few days ago she called out haters on her vlive. A few days before, Soojin had done a vlive, and during it she was reading out comments, and one of them said “Hey, you have something on your face... it’s ugliness.” She had started to read that one, then stopped when she realized what it said. Shuhua found out and was calling them out on her live, saying she doesn’t mind if they say things like that about her, but not about her members, and was visibly angry about it, which is very refreshing. She oftentimes shocks Korean media personalities because she honestly doesn’t give a fuck, which is why she never does her hair or do makeup for vlives, because she is confident about herself.

ugh their friendship is so heartwarming. when shuhua first became a trainee and entered the company she said that out of all the trainees there, soojin’s face was very memorable so she tried finding her in all of the practice rooms and when she found her she entered the room and just stared at her. then soojin said she was shocked and felt awkward cause she tried speaking to her but shuhua didn’t speak or understand korean yet. eventually, they got really close because of phone translations and soojin would continue to listen to shuhua even when she didn’t understand her. it’s so cute. i get why shuhua is so whipped for soojin.

Since I'm an avid follower of (G)I-DLE and only (G)I-DLE in Kpop, let me share how it all started. Shuhua is Taiwanese (not Chinese, Yuqi is Chinese). She joined Cube last (2016) among all the members and you must know now that she's the youngest (2000 liner) in the group. So, when she came here first, the trainee life was hella hard for her because she didn't know Korean at all at that time. But since Yuqi speaks Chinese, they could somehow communicate and really helped her a lot. So, here's our concerned ship. The first encounter of Shuhua with Soojin was in their vocal lesson room where Shuhua calmly entered and sat beside Soojin (Soojin was already in the room). She looked at Soojin with a smile like we would usually do while meeting a stranger and Soojin, being a good soul, asked her "Why" in Korean. But Shuhua didn't even know that word back then, poor soul! So Soojin asked her "Why (are you staring at me)?" in English,. Anyway, that was their first interaction between each other, and Soojin understood her difficulty. So she was always there beside her tough time though she couldn't speak Korean properly. She never felt uncomfortable listening to her broken Korean and encouraged her. What worked as "cherry on the cake" is they then shared a room together in the dorm before debut while the other 4 shared another bigger room. And that's it, Shuhua fell deeper and deeper into Soojin's caring side. For better understanding, "Soojin is unanimously selected as the MOM of the group". She listens well and can comfort the best out of all of 'em. And since their debut, Shuhua never was shy of expressing her gratitude to Soojin in the form "love" which was pretty well received by the fans cuz she is the Maknae, savage and mischievous Maknae. Even the I-Talk editors realized the huge potential and response of this ship and started to include SooShu moments in almost all of the I-Talk videos. Quite similarly, Miyeon (the eldest) and Shuhua's relationship were turned into Tom and Jerry relationship and they were perceived as "always fighting couple". Miyeon really loves her a lot and takes care of her as her younger sis. This also turned out to be a very well-taken ship among fans. But in reality, Shuhua loves Miyeon the most after Soojin but their close moments are carefully edited out and not published in I-Talk.
