Man - your vid is something to behold. The Shield's 'Gaze sound reproduced for real in the hard light of day, minus the druggy haze of the Valentine's bleached videos. Superb.
IF you can create this much Joy for people with your stunning guitar and playing.... imagine what you could do with a few friends and a limitless imagination. - a wonderful life is ..
Mate, that was gnarly as fuck... I loved how you played it and you even added extra bits that are not on the original song, and for me they were perfect. Just like 1:44 - 1:50. Wicked cover!
@@Leonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn so what tuning is it in? Regardless, it basically sounds identical so it doesn't matter. I don't think you could pull off the accuracy, particularly the tremelo, but please feel free to upload your own version if you can...
I know u need special pedals to get that exact sound, but will any guitar do?, kinda tempted to buy one just to see if I can do that. On the plus side I have long fingers, am keen, am retiring early next year so plenty of time, strumming looks doable :) On the negative side am 61 (thin but no exercise, feel 35 though) but not sure if my brain is plastic enough to be able to learn / execute all that finger work :(
Sorry but I don't know about the guitar but I think though that you should try to play it even at your age. After all you won't know until you try so give it a shot!! Hope for you that it'll go well and that you stay motivated !
"I have long fingers, am keen, am retiring early next year" Anatomy, motivation and time are definitely key factors in achieving anything you put your mind to! I wouldn't worry about the type of guitar as long as it has a whammy bar that doesn't send the strings out of tune as soon as you touch it then you will eventually be strumming like your favourite artists.
The fact that MBV overrode the vocal with the guitar volume/density is epic. Fleeting Joys typically do this too. Cool shoegaze tactic indeed. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CuP3VRqkO-Y.htmlsi=Cfg6HDxnQgIyZbUn
