@@ColtonJune 247 has all but 2 of our entire class rated below their composite scores. Sometimes criminally low, like Keven Sperry or Trent Wilson, who have composite scores of 93 and 94 but 247 has them at 88 and 89. He’ll, they have Danny Stutsman at the #21 LB in the nation despite him being discussed for the Butkus award and constantly being included in “top 10” or “top 5” LB rankings. We have 6-7 guys ranked 93 or higher and 247 is killing our rankings by ranking all of them 2,3,4, or even 5 points below their composites. For reference, the difference between a 94 and an 89 is the difference between being a top 150 recruit or being so lowly ranked you don’t even get a national ranking (outside top 500 I think). That’s the difference between getting paid 100s of thousands to go to a top 10 program and potentially having to walk on at Rice.

And you know what else? 247 has Danny Stutsman ranked as the #21 LB as a prospect, not a recruit. That’s nuts considering he’s constantly being mentioned in national top 10 LB lists, with lots of people including him in top 5 and some listing him as their #1. He’s coming into the year on the shortlist for the Butkus award…. #21? Really?

No matter what recruiting service there are always guys bitching about the way they rank their team. 247 has OU with the highest ranking out of all the recruiting services so I sure don’t follow the comment about them always being below the composite. On3 has been the highest up to this point. Last time I looked 247 had OU at 5th and On3 at 8

@@ryanmckinney-ec6jf it’s comical you want to share your opinion on the matter when you don’t even know what you’re talking about. OU is 8th on 247 and 10th on On3. Rivals is the highest at 6th

We definitely won’t be 6-6 lol but I’m with you on the better Oline recruiting. Whiffingbaugh has to do better. Especially with the amount of money he’s being paid. If there are weak links, BV will hopefully fix it. Playing in SEC will tell us a lot about this staff

@@austinshotts8307 we are. Look at last years class and this years class already. Look at the guys we transferred in for the ‘22 and ‘23 portal classes.

@@dremac8756I think this year’s game will be a good one, but it is still only the 7th most anticipated game for me. I am more excited for Texas, LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Alabama. I have been a season ticket holder for over 20 years, and I made sure to take road trips to lots of conference and non-conference opponents, but Missouri was never one I cared enough to visit. Even this year I am going to Auburn, Ole Miss, and LSU. Missouri is the only SEC road game I haven’t bought tickets for yet. Maybe I will, but even with the Tigers having one of their all-time squads, it’s just not that exciting an opponent or venue.

@@SoonerBeau tickets for 11/9 are officially sold out. Did you end up buying or passing?

@@dremac8756 I assumed it would be a sellout, probably because I am used to all OU homes games always being sold out (20+ years running I think). I don’t know if that is true for Mizzou (nearly always sold out), but they have a good enough team that coupled with OU coming to town, it should be a full stadium. I decided to sit it out. I got tickets to all of OU’s other home and away games, and I am really excited about checking out some cool new venues.
