In this video, I have recorded the sound of an old vintage BJM hair dryer from the seventies. I have used it with its own concentrator nozzle inserted.
I have to say it produces a nice sound although it is a bit rattling. It still keeps working, but the age starts to affect its mechanism.
I am a hair dryer sound addicted and a blow dryer collector. From my experience, old hair dryers often produce a better sound than the new ones. I do not know why. But the proof is in the pudding.
Anyway, I think the hair dryer sound is the best white noise to help people to relax and sleep. A true technological lullaby indeed.

I like the slow movements ear to ear and i think this hair dryer makes a less harsh high pitch screeching noise compared to some of the other ones.

I usually use Roland CS-10EM binaural microphones inserted in a dummy head to record hair dryers sounds-white noise, and a matched pair of Rode NT1-A for videos with a quieter background (for example turning page videos). Hi BioHzrd09 and welcome to my channel! 😊 I wear white outfit and gloves while performing my videos for several reasons: 1. together with the black background, I think that they help focusing on the hair dryer, which is the source of the sound (this is suppose to be a visual ASMR video too); 2. they are a sort of trademark of this channel 3. they are really practical (for example, if I didn't use the gloves, I would not stop the air flow without having my hands burned).
