She's underrated. Said it for years. Ever since the school shooting scene to the media in One Tree Hill was cut out I knew she owns her skills. I hope she finds something she loves.

The thing that pisses me off more than just the fact that she had to quit her dream job because of a man that couldn't be decent enough to treat her with respect, is that she told them that she would leave if things didn't change and instead of changing and creating a better work environment they just decided to keep things the way they were and let her go.

I'm happy she left. Sure, I'll miss #Linstead on the show (I'm on season 3 rn, idk if they're still a thing in s4) but imo it's better to quit than to do something that makes you unhappy. About her reason to leave - it's none of my business to discuss about, what she wants is the most important in this situation. I loved Erin's storyline from the pilot all to this point, and Sophia has done a great job portraying her. I'm really looking forward to seeing her next project!

The only good thing about Sophia leaving the show was she took the despicable Bunny character played by Markie Post with her.

Gotta say I love Sophia Bush she’s an incredible actress as well as she has grown into a strong confident woman and I will miss her on Chicago PD but I applauded her for taking a stand it’s hard enough even working a job you love with 12 to 16 hour days but when it’s made intolerable something must give you go Sophia and best of luck too you

Yes but what exactly did she want to change? This hasn’t cleared anything up at all 🙄 The show hasn’t been the same, and not just because she left, Tracy Spiridakos has done a great job of filling the hole Sophia’s character left behind but I hate that all her plots were hastily ended, especially when her and Halstead had their love arch building since season 1, the shitty, bickering conclusion that they tried to throw at us was pitiful. But I suppose they did the best they can under the circumstances, as much as I would have hated it; it probably would have been more effective to kill her off.

It's sad she left, but if Jay Halstead (played by Jesse Lee Soffer) leaves, I'd probably stop watching the show.

Pretty simple why she left. Mark Schwann of One Tree Hill was inappropriate around the female cast on that show. He caused Hilarie Burton to quit after season 6. Sophia stuck it out for 9 years, moved to Chicago PD and then got the same treatment from Jason Beghe as well as an unsympathetic response from Dick Wolf, who did absolutely f**k all about it. I think after 9 years of crap before, Sophia decided she'd had enough. I can't watch Chicago PD now. Erin was my favourite character. She was more or less forced off the show and that really pisses me off. A talented and smart actress forced to quit a show to escape sexual harassment and intimidation. Plus now I know what kind of people Jason Beghe and Dick Wolf are, it's ruined it for me. I refuse to watch any of the Chicago franchise now.

She did a good job but they didn`t lose anything with her going. The show is as good as ever. Her replacement really took over and ran with it.

Just wondering how come she's the only one who's having problem with the people on the show? Everyone seems having a good time. Marina and Tracy seems to get along with the others (talking about the harrassment issue)

It sounds to me that she just got overwhelmed with the work. People think TV acting is easy, it isn't. They shoot for 12-18 hours a day 5-6 days a week for 2-3 months at time. Yes they make tons of money but that has got to be emotionally, mentally and physically exhausting.

Okay, someone give up the deets on what REALLY went on behind the scenes...was it one actor in particular? Sucky producers? Do tell!

The truth is she wasnt happy with loads of people around the set. There would be fans sitting out waiting for her and she was rude and unhappy. Its a shame because everyone liked her because the show One Tree Hill. Its a shame. Truly. Hope she gets it together and doesnt stay a diva

First of all she is one of the view women I really look up to. She is smart and not afraid to share her opinion with everyone. But I am quite surprised by this statement.. I would have guessed she left because of the breakup with Jesse ...

With respect to Sophia, I think her activism is making her not last long in any job. That and dating her costars.It sounds like she had a legitimate grip on One Tree Hill, but on Chicago PD it sounds like she didn't like being yelled at by someone at the workplace. or took overt offense at commentary that most likely occurs on a set. If someone genuinely grabbed her or assault her, then of course she would be in the right. But it sounds like she is such an activist she takes offense easily. And her attacks on Brett Kavaunaugh based on no proof suggests she is not prone to viewing events without bias. For example when people asked why she hadn't commented about working conditions on Chicago PD for a year and a half she said ""If you have chosen not to listen to the frank, clear conversations I’ve had on the topic over the last year, that’s on you. Your lack of attention - to me and to ALL of the women who tell their stories into the void - doesn’t mean that we haven’t been screaming all along." The fact that she would lump in ALL women telling their stories into the void suggest she has an axe to grind and isn't actually speaking from honesty. If people are truly telling their stories into the void it would suggest that people wouldn't hear the stories. Since they are being told into a void. Don't then fault people who didn't hear the story. That sounds like someone who thinks they are a martyr. The whole world is against her and all women. Relax! You're a tv star earning millions of dollars. You are not a slave. don't then overdramatize the issue. She further said "Bush, 36, summed up her experience shooting "Chicago PD" to Shepard as feeling "like I was standing butt-naked, bruised and bleeding in the middle of Times Square, screaming at the top of my lungs and not a single person stopped to ask if they could help me." A bit overly dramatic, perhaps? I highly doubt the "abuse" she suffered on the set was the equivalent of someone bruised and bleeding in the middle of Times Square. That sounds like someone who doesn't take criticism well and viewed it as abuse. and wants out of her contract. Maybe some people on the set were domineering and she couldn't handle it, but don't make it out to be the equivalent of someone beaten in the middle of times square. She's also calling out every one of her costars, who apparently saw her being abused and looked the other way> OR, maybe they didn' think she was being abused and was being a drama queen. and didn't want to get in between two people who were fighting on set.

It is mistake to replace Clayne Crawford. This other person is not a good fit. To silly.

She was annoying af so I'm glad she's gone! She wasn't that great of an actress, and has easily been replaced. I actually cheered when she left and love, love, love this show!!

Dont really miss her. She has very narrow presentation of her character. Very shallow. Wish they would get rid of Voight. He's too angry and violent. Loved Al.

She was hired by 20th Century Fox (which owns the Fox Network) after she left Chicago PD, probably for more money. Watch for her in a new series on Fox.

Sounds to me like yet another money squabble. That's generally what it all boils down to. I mean, clearly if you're miserable it's not your "dream job".

Speaking in a whisper is not great acting. It just keeps you from understanding what she is saying.

She is the most overrated actress on tv. I am extremely glad that she is gone. Because she is a Bush. I think she thought she would be handed any job she wanted. Don’t care what your last name is, you have to work at it.
