The song is called ' Vincent', by Don McLean, and was written as a tribute to the artist Vincent Van Gough. . It is often erroneously titled after its opening refrain, "Starry Starry Night", a reference to Van Gough's 1889 painting The Starry Night. McLean wrote the lyrics in 1971 after reading a book about the life of Van Gough.

I agree, she just slowed it down a little for some reason. It was a bit brighter and crisper during the audition. I also agree she was marvelous none the less. I absolutely love her voice, tone, she's amazing

First rendition was much more polished, This version, her timing seemed to be off. At one point, I thought she was going stop and start over again. And yes, I’m a fan.
