Apparently Sophia’s mom left aldc because Abby wanted to put them both head to head and was scared sophia would lose.I think she was trying to get sophia out of that toxic environment.
Here’s a fun fact she broke the world record for the most consecutive pirouettes on March 30th 2013 and that so happens to be my 4th birthday and my name is Sophia too
Her mom also woke her up everyday at 4am to stretch and did it till she cried. She also was at the dance studio everyday 8am-8pm. Sophia’s mom would also scream at her for over eating like the time when she ate a Kit Kat.
They were both gonna do solos against each other on the last episode Sophia is in, but her mom decides to leave before her and Maddie can compete. I wonder why nobody asks that question, was Sophia’s mom scared that she might lose to Maddie

That’s not true. The real reason Abby didn’t put Maddie against Sophia is because she didn’t want Maddie to lose against her. Abby took care of Maddie’s image and losing against Sophia wouldn’t look good for Maddie’s image or for Abby herself. That’s why she put Chloe against her, Chloe was always the one going up against the new dancers of the team. So how would it look if Abby’s so called “best dancer” lost against Sophia who is also the best? And that’s the same reason why Kira wanted so bad for Maddie to go up against Kalani but Abby said no just end up putting kalani against Chloe. Like if Maddie is so good why not put her against them? Because she knows Maddie wouldn’t have won. She put Chloe against the new ones all the time to see if Chloe could beat them or come close to beating them and Chloe would either beat them or get 2nd place. If that was true then why not let Chloe also learn from Sophia? Why put her against Sophia when both Maddie and Chloe could’ve learned from Sophia?

Must not have been a good experience overall as she’s destroyed all of her trophies and plaques and any awards associated with dancing. It’s not the dancing that she hates It’s the exploitation and abuse small or large All of the crazy mom egos fighting How miserable And these girls can physically harm their growth as they are nearly starving all through puberty ti maintain that tiny girls figure But it’s not natural or healthy I feel bad for all of these girls 😢❤
Her mom and Sophia left because Sophias mother did not want her daughter to be in a toxic enviroment and she was pretty much busy with other studios that wanted her on their team. After she left dance moms she moved to a new studio
