How can you tell it was pitch corrected?? I agree live "imperfect" performances are more enjoyable.

@@susanwestby1792 It is actually quite easy to hear, when you're used to recording / producing vocals. The vocal tract is what physically produces the formants / overtones of the voice, whch are the frequencies that are somewhat fixed and thus give each human voice its unique character. However, when you sing, the vocal tract moves a bit as well, which alters the formants of the voice a little bit, upon singing different notes / frequencies. Conversely, if you hear a note being sung which is completely straight without any fluctuation in pitch at all, AND at the same time hear the vocal tract moving a bit, changing the formants of the voice, as it would upon singing different frequencies, you know that something is not right.. It is very subtle to the untrained ear, but I was able to spot it because I have spent countless hours editing and pitching recorded vocals. I would like to say also, that she is an incredibly talented singer, which you can clearly tell from her live performances. I just thought it was a pity to correct something which actually sounds better as is...
