i just thought this yesterday watching an NPR tiny desk. the realization hit me that ill never see a tiny desk performance by her and i felt SO fckn sad.
It's important to remind yourself that the pain we feel is a small fraction of anyone who was lucky enough to be close to her. Many miss her, but there are a few will never get over her passing and we must try to show them as much compassion and respect as we can in this time.
its the inner peace. trust me. once you start working thru ur personal traumas and conflicts, you learn the importance of controlling the reactions to your emotions. once you get there its light speed. your whole face and body changes, your posture, the way you carry yourself; just everything. honestly some basic EMDR therapy + breathing exercises is enough to transform your whole being in a lot of cases

I think she was an artistic adept of the world. I hope she always knows how loved and talented we all think she is. She always leaves abruptly at the end of her sets and i find that symbolic of how polarizing her style was. If there is an afterlife she is probably making the most insane music of all time with sounds we cant even imagine.
I remember hearing about this and I wanted to go so bad. I was 16 and had no idea how to do things by myself and the venue was 21+…. So many regrets :(
Life’s so unfair and cruel sometimes, all the possibilities and potential 💔 I’m sure she would’ve reshape pop music forever had she been able to continue. 🙏🏻
Does anyone else get the vibe that she was annoyed with the camera in her face the entire set? I’m glad we have this video but it’s come of potentially disrespectful and uncomfortable if the performer wasn’t asked. Just a vibe I picked up. Maybe Sophie didn’t care. Idk
are you serious? boring poor things? everything is done according to time and possibilities. Afex Twin himself admits SOPHIE, but you can’t come to terms with the fact that everything is changing.
@@TB-rt7xk get out of here if you're not happy with the new stuff. you should have stayed to live in the times of your childhood. How stupid is it to draw conclusions about an artist whose biography you don’t know. if you had answered me decently, you would have just sent me an emoji.
