X-Men: Dark Phoenix stars and friends Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain reunite over dinner to talk past roles and future plans. Plus, Chastain is surprised to learn that Turner is not a natural redhead; and Turner shows Chastain how to “dab like a millennial”.
Turner recalls their first meeting on set, opens up about getting nervous before auditions; and talks about her bond with Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams - it’s “a very intense friendship, a friendship that I haven’t had with any of my other girlfriends before”.
Meanwhile, Chastain reveals the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to her on set; remembers the time she auditioned in front of Al Pacino; and shares her advice on how to overcome that fear of auditions. Her top tip? “Don’t think of them as testing you out. You are in the control seat.”
