I have been a fan of Ilva Ligabue since hearing her in La Forza del Destino al comunale Firenze with Franco Corelli . She was stunningly beautiful and her Pace Pace was perfection . I do not think the music industry has used her ; it is difficult to find the few recordings . Now Postumously these clips from live performances are appearing , which give me immense pleasure . I am not sure she was as musically accurate as some more famous singers ; but a great and beautiful stage performer .

Lacks proper chestvoice. Role is for a dramatic soprano despite what people think and this soprano is not a dramatic. She is good elswhere though.
