Starting using both the viper and the ultra 45 yesterday. The viper is so smooth. My first impressions of both is AWESOME. Digging the new rubber as well.

You have to boil the clips on the moerman and bend them back to be slightly less dog eared!!!! You will not get rainbow streaks also will not need to use soap on your strip washer for it to work!! Put that brass junk in the past trash where it belongs I promise you SteveO you are missing out zero detail is not a myth anyone watching this video do not listen to Mr SteveO on this subject

Seems like the hard rubber did fine in the cold, too. I just ordered a couple of quicksilver channels but now I'm wishing I picked these up instead.

Could be wrong but I saw the legend channel isn't available anymore, did it get adopted by Sorbo? The channel design is remarkably similar, and I can say from experience it is def one of my favorite wide body channels to use for knocking out commercial work!

hey yeah I got my viper it's pretty good. yeah the rubber that's in actually pretty good when I'm going over stickers it leaves Harley any residue even though it's a hard rubber usually soft rubber does that. wondering if it's their silicone rubber I bought a bunch of silicone haven't used yet. I have the ultra 45 as well just a short time of using both the viper seems a lot smoother but I think I have to use the ultra a little bit more to and maybe trim the rubber for better results liquidator 3.0 is coming I think it's just going to be the in tips. I've been using the liquidators for a while smaller sizes like the 14 and smaller are easy to get used to but I've been trying the heating up the tips bending back seems to help.

I love sorbo and use them all the time but honestly the liquidator is dope, you only wipe the bottom ledge zero detailing on top and sides. you will only get rainbows if something's wrong... like the rubber is not loaded right (that can be tricky and the moerman rubbers are poorly cut, and the teeth on handle are a no no) the newer clips arnt as good as the old ones andthe handles horrible but very useful... have you tried a liquidator on wagtail handles I can use them up to 22" with blackdiamond soft rubber no issues at all even in 100% humidity. admittedly I do modify the new end clips.

SteveO, didn't you hate Sorbo's rubber as recent as a couple of months ago? I thought you were going for Ettore rubber or Black diamond? Is this an exception to that? I think the line was something like "Sorbo's rubber were good but have kinda gone to the dumps of late."

Depends on how you view it, to cut the channel in a 45° angle is nothing new, legend was a Sörbo copy cut in 45°,,, but poorly done and the clips was not in an angel... Sörbo might just as well do it them self - properly and make the money them self if there is a demand for the product

@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Yeah, I've ordered from him before, I should have mentioned Trad poles, my mistake. Had to get a replacement part for the Xero micro last year, no one had it here had to import it, seems to be a bit of a gap in their market. Another couple of weeks and the window cleaning season will start up here weather and covid permitting. I think I'll buy myself one of those sorbos to see what all the fuss is about, the 45 degree cuts are a good concept but the other channels I've used with that have all had some other issues, sharp corners or clips that don't hold at the end of the rubber as you said.

@@typerightseesight The Bar is for attaching a safety line when you do high rise work, then you can use an extension pole... Its a really nice handle, perfect for the wide body channel

Why would you want to put anything other than a liquidator 3.0 on an excellerator 2.0 handle and straight pulls on the pole really? you are are an extremely good window cleaner and presenter but you are selling yourself short
