That's a really sweet list. I usually try to fit some teleports in a wind battlemage deck, but I suppose this works for you and I should reconsider the value of teleports.

Blink is sorta my teleport. But teleport is good card nevertheless 👍

Early playtesting showed the power Battlemage. It was nerfed, but more tools were given as well. I want to build one deck around him one day.

hey Jeff, love the video. how do you think this one compares in power level to your enchantress or elementalist decks?

Excellent question! I think overall Elementalist is my best deck. It has a powerful draw engine, strong creatures, and an adaptable battle strategy. Battlemage and Enchantress are really close in power scales! Battlemage is an aggressive aggro deck with powerful equipments and fast minions. While Enchantress is a big brain control deck that can steadily control almost any outcome with proper timing. Both of these decks go back and forth when facing each other. Overall all 3 decks are really strong, It just depends on which play style you prefer and how you play them! But to answer your question honestly, I think this is the tier system for my decklists: Tier 1: Elementalist Throne Tier 2: Deathspeaker Reanimator Tier 3: Battlemage & Enchantress I hope this answered your question. @@misterjackpots of course brotha, I always try to help when I can 😎. Throne is just an extra bonus tbh. Usually if it's in my opening hand I just commit to winning with it. But Selfsame Simulacrum, Daperyll Vampire, Death Dealer, and Ancient Dragon can definitely grant you victory as well! Heck Grapple Shot and Lightning Bolt can be win conditions too! 🤣 It's all about how to play your cards. Be conservative when it matters, but also be aggressive at every given opportunity!

Aren't ranged attacks are considered strikes, not the attack basic action? Therefore BM wouldn't draw off the crossbow attack, nor stand with screaming skull if ranged is used

Yes that is correct. The main point is that it can strike airborne and stealth units and it guarantees that BM will strike a unit and not be intercepted. Sometimes guaranteeing a strike is better than drawing a card.

When your winning on turn 3 or 4, you dont need life gain. 🤣 BM is extreamly fast! However if they ever make an equipment that gives the bearer life gain, that would be an insane addition to BM.
