I want to watch your videos, but a friend and I are gonna do this game old school. We each chose two of the pre cons and each time we are able to get together we are gonna open 3 packs each. And those are the only cards you can use to make your deck each visit. I am trying to replicate as if it was school yard days and you have to play with what ever cards you got from your allowance. 😂 I never played magic back when I was that young, so I thought it might be a fun way to discover the game.
That's cool too! I remember when I was young I added couple packs every time as we weren't able to buy a whole box lol. Precon + boosters reminds me of the old MTG sealed format which did something similar.
I am getting found of this collabaration between you and Jesse. It works really Well and also the decklist In the end of the video. Not to copy some magic creators but. Videos where deck teck is included could also be About how to Spice up your Pre-con decks with these cards or remove this and add those cards. For a beginner perspective, it would draw more value out and extent the fun for those who only bought the precon decks but Are Hungry for more…🤩
I think its not the end game necessarily. This deck suffers similar issues found in battlemage decks that once a minion like depravyl vampire is played, the deck will stall fast if you can't remove. If it can be removed with the lethal combo I think it will be OK against ramp decks. I would say it does worst against battlemage aggro as battlemage itself is much more powerful than sparkmage.
I think it works with Sparkmage that focuses on using its ability as a damage source, but its not included in this deck as it just slows down the tempo as an aggro deck. I would rather like to draw minions that deals damage.
