as a fellow equestrian this really hit hard! not the forelockkkkk! i love your channel, i also have a equine channel. i just subbed! your horse is gorgeous!
Ahh , the unglamorous part of having horses ! My experience with the care and feeding of horses showed me that having horses is not a hobby , it's a lifestyle . The twice daily feeding , grooming including hoof cleaning , and of course riding takes a lot of time , effort and money , it's a lifestyle . What makes me cringe is to see people who own " hobby horses" , that are stuck in rented stalls and their maintenance is neglected . If you don't embrace horse ownership and the attendant maintenance you should get a cat , not a horse . 👍
Hey! Stop hating on the people who do hobby horsing people don’t understand how much effort we actually put into hobby horsing! It’s an actual sport and it takes lots of hard work to jump or do dressage with a hobby horse!Im tired of repeating myself all the time even at school…
I make a pretty good living spending time giving lessons with, riding, training and grooming other people’s hobby horses. I’ve found that many horse hobbyists care more for the wellbeing of their horses than full time competitive equestrians. They just don’t always do all the work involved, because they have careers that are demanding, so when they do get time to come to the barn, they want to step on and ride a healthy and legged up horse, not spend most of their time scooping poop and lunging a pent up pony.
