This awesome to see! There is still hope for the young generation to see how out of this world MJ was. One of a kind. That is why he is THE GOAT.👑🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I still feel dumb thinking back to when I thought lebron was the goat. This man on top of being the greatest finisher was literally the best mid range shooter of all time. No one took more or made more at higher percentage. And arguably best defender at his position. Only sg top 5 in blocks and steals.
I would argue Michael Jordan is a top 10 defender of all time at any position because he won a defensive player of the year over Hakeem Olajuwon and he is tied for the most first team all-defense selections ever despite the crazy amount of energy he used on offense.
The real reason MJ was the greatest of all time, he was like the energizer bunny. He never forgot to change the battery in his smoke detector. That's also the reason he played so many 82 game seasons.
The real reason why Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time is because he is by an absolute light-year the greatest playoff performer that ever lived. It is not debatable. He averaged 33.5 points per game and nobody else was over 50 playoff games played even averages 30. Nobody ever argues about the playoff performance in the goat debate and they really should because it's where your performance matters the most. Some people say that Wilt Chamberlain was the greatest scorer of all time but he became an average player in the playoffs. Michael Jordan literally improved significantly in the playoffs against harder competition because he didn't take the regular-season as seriously. And he improved even more slightly in the finals.
Imagine watching this black cat in person? I did a few times vs Clips at old LA Sports Arena and the things my 20/20 vision witnessed were aerially insane. So many times I had to watch replay on jumbotron to make sure my eyes hadn't deceived me. Magic is my favorite player all-time and the reason I fell in love with the sport in 1979 but without hesitation I proclaim MJ to be the GOAT. I find it laughable that they try to compare a mere mortal to him. MJ hardly slept, played golf, drank alcohol and smoked cigars before games and he still went out there to put on a show - offensively and defensively and he still had the endurance to take over late in games. Where amazing happened!!
Great Reaction young man.. They said Jordan"s vertical was 48 inches.. Check out 21 mins of rare Jordan"s dunks and highlights, also Jordan shatters backboard insane..
@@joshuadooley181 then why didn’t you tell the original commenter to state it and that it’s not hard to look up. I think Jordan’s the goat but you’re being a sensitive drider right now
Notice a lot of Jordan's dunks are over 7 footers waiting in the lane, with no defensive 3 second rule. That happens less in today's NBA with the def. 3 secs calls. I'm NOT saying Lebron doesn't dunk over 7 footers, but it's much less often in today's game than it was in Jordan's era.
MJ averaged 37.5 pts per game against the Detroit “Bad Boys “ Pistons…and some times MJ would get “hot “…as stated by Isaiah Thomas in an interview…even the Jordan Rules didn’t keep MJ from scoring at will…there wasn’t a defense back in the rough and tough decades of the 80s and 90s that ever shut MJ down….👽🔥🎤✌️
How many points teammate had . Lbj kept wade and Kyrie scoring with him . Jordan all me . That why kept losing piston . Could u imagine happen lbj kept losing same team . He get eaten losing to the warriors in finals .
@@cscarlyMJ scored so much because no one on the Bulls team stepped up including Scottie Pippen. Once Jordan took Scottie under his wing and molded him and others, the Bulls started to win and Jordan willingly scored less.
@@cscarly -- lol!! You put lebron on that 1985 Bulls team and I guarantee you he is OUT of there after his rookie contract!! lol!!! Now you give Jordan players like Wade and Kyrie!!??? I guarantee you the Bulls win: "Not 1, Not 2, Not 3, Not 4, Not 5, etc., etc,"!!!!!!
@@CurtisT1019 Larry Bird himself said MJ didn't have a "team mentality" in the 80's because... he had no team. The year before Jordan came on the Bulls were a sub-30 win team and missed the playoffs 3 years straight. The Bulls never missed the playoffs when Jordan was on board.
One day when I was in the third grade, so around ‘93 a teacher brought a card board cutout to scale of Michael Jordan’s hand. The thing was absolutely enormous. Just dwarfed everyone.
I know you have some friends who are hardcore delusional Lebron fans that believe he is the GOAT……you should do a reaction video with them and have them watch the following videos: -MJ Rare Voyager -MJ Best Defender -The Best GOAT Comparison by Danger Productions -MJ as a Wizards Player -MJ Trash Talking (feat. Kevin Garnet) If you think this video is crazy, all these videos listed above are even crazier! MJ will forever be the GOAT!
As much as we give credit to the Pistons for slowing MJ down by beating the crap out of him, it needs to be mentioned that he still averaged 30pts against them in the playoffs, and over 35 during the regular season 😅

Watching in person was like god using a cheat code. Jazz fans hated him, delta center deafening boos at every Jordan touch, those boos turning into silence, the silence turning into very loud cheers.
Technically the Camera quality was actually very good in the 80's and 90's, as good as today pretty much. The reason why it looks awful is actually the conversion from analog (film/old skool Broadcasting tech) to Digital (modern day HD stuff) The Camera's from the 90's can record better detail than 8K. It's just the conversion from analog to digital of a lot of these, would have been done in the early 2000's, and the conversion back then sucked. If the person who made this had access to the Broadcast film, they would be able to make a perfect 8k image. Watch the last dance, you will see most of the footage looks perfect like today, because they could access the original master Tapes/Films, and conversion today is really good. This is way many 80's Movies still look good today and many 90's Movies look perfect today, they remaster them from original films with brilliant modern day analog to digital conversion techniques/software.
Not to mention that a lot of what was recorded was recorded on video tape. Video tape degrades over time, thus reducing the video quality. Another issue with tape was that on every viewing, every fast forward and rewarding, was that the tape was stretched out slightly. The slightly microscopic stretching and pulling, slowly damaged the tape, which reduced video quality. So by the time to digital transfer, there was a lot of source material that was already damaged, and reduced quality.
The Detroit Pistons could not guard Michael Jordan. Their strategy of hard fouling him was their only way to try to contain him. The Pistons beat the Bulls because they were a much better overall team in comparison to the Bulls, Jordan did not have the supporting cast to beat a great team like the Pistons early in his career, but that does not mean they could guard Michael Jordan.

Always been my goat of basketball my whole life no disrespect to lebron but mj is just too good man and was a competitive killer. Also they called him “Black Jesus “
It was like watching a real life cartoon when live... His measured vertical was 48" and that still tops to this day... That was coming out of college 48" too, not in his prime....
Here is how good Jordan is, and no one else has mentioned this. Over 85% of the league MVPs throughtout history have been big men (centers or power forwards). Before Magic, only two guards in NBA history had ever won MVP : Cousey and Oscar. Jordan not only won MVP at the shooting guard position, but he absolutely DOMINATED the entire league from that position. Jordan is the only shooting guard in NBA history to win multiple MVPs. That shows how difficult it is to dominate the game from that position. Not only did he do it, but he became the greatest to ever do it, while playing the most difficult position to dominate from!
Mike was cold! Ain't no way the media can't see how thorough Mike was. But fandom makes people do and say stupid things...like Lebron is better than MJ...lol!
Just remember that was in an era where they did play actual defense and you could get away with much more physical contact without being called for a hard foul or thrown out and he was still doing that to pretty much everyone even with multiple bodies in his way and taking contact when going to the basket. In today's powder puff era with little to no defense and fouls being giving for the barest of contact he would have a field day and run riot on scoring......most of the moves he was doing back then has never been replicated since and he was smooth doing it whereas today's stars look anything but. He was simpy on a different level and he did it at both ends of the court and missed very few games year in year out (over a seven consecutive year period he missed a total of just 7 games - he was the scoring champion each of those 7 years averaging 30+ppg each time) that equals GOAT.
Every time I see the shot where jordan switched hands on the lakers I keep hearing this kids say it wasn’t necessary. He was to far from the rim to dunk and he was falling forward with his hand behind the ball like he was gonna dunk and I’d say when he realized that he switched hands. What’s the bid deal. When you can use either hand you make the best decision and he did.
Don't remember MJ getting to the finals as a youngster!? How many years did it take for MJ to reach the NBA finals!? How many did it take LeBron and he had little help!! Greatest scorer of all time from east coast to west coast!! Oh, i forgot younsta, beat that 73 win Golden State team with a triple double to win the championship!! Facts!!
Your young😊 Nobody could guard him. He avg 37 against Detroit with the Jordan rules. They were really trying to hurt him. They called him Black cat or Black Jesus.....period
That's the difference between LeBron and Jordan, he wasn't about the championship rings, only playing basketball but the rewards came with it then why not ? 🏆
What is the deal with people saying that LeBron really thinks he's the G.O.A.T.? He hasn't said that in years and the only time he actually said it, was after winning that championship in Cleveland. It was how he felt in the moment. Since then everyone has been on the boy's a$$ about it. If everyone else would let it rest, the conversation would go away. Let it go. He said M.J. was the greatest and took a while to even make a decision on who was number two. Get off the boy's a$$. Damn!
That's why the Isiah Pistons made their Jordan Rules which is fouling him beyond hard foul but largely dirty tactics fouling that could easily end a basketball career of any player.
MJ was great but, Larry Legend Bird. Swept him twice in the Playoffs. Oh yeah, he also went 1-3 against Bird in his (MJ) best year in the NBA. FOOD FOR THOUGHT.😂😂😂
1 thing you said the pistons could guard m.j. not true, young sir. For 1. They tried to injure him, not play sound defense because they couldn't stop him, and 2. Even with all that cheating by the pistons, he still averaged 37 points against that pistons team. So they couldn't guard him even while cheating
@Yaboimelly there's a video where Isiah says, "we double teamed jordan every time, and he still averaged 37 points against us," during the regular season
The reason Jordan is the Goat and LeBron isn't is because everything LeBron can do Jordan did it better and Jordan did thing's that LeBron can only dream of doing.
I don't like LeBron's attitude, demeanor, behaviour or his game. MJ is so much better. He's not just better he's the Greatest of All-Time. (The GOAT) Plenty of Kobe fans convinced me that LeBron is not the 2nd best player in history, it's actually Kobe. I don't want to watch Grandpa James playing basketball anymore. He's turning 39 in Late December. It's time for the attention to go to the younger much more athletic players in the NBA. Jordan has outclassed LeBron in Scoring Titles 10-1 and 50+ Point Games 31-14 in favour of MJ.
Not gonna talk bad about any era , todays game has more athleticism but the 90's was bumpin and grindin for real much harder and tougher, nba players today even say he's the best , all players today can play in the era back then and vise versa, even players like larry bird would do well today, lebron might have actually been a better player back then due to needing to be tough , but he not on jordans level, lets say jordan was in a weaker era , who would stop him today? and ill wait
