Both Thar & Jimny are good for offroading, love indian brand, Thar doing good but Jimny has excellent proven record for offroading internationally. However, it is underrated in India by people who have less idea about offroading and more idea about showoff. 😊😊
Most of that's weight comes from big engine and gearbox. Heavier chassis and axel with big tyres...body will have similar weight profile (not same weight)

There is practically no comparison between Jimny and Thar, especially if you see the weight difference then you will get to know that Jimny has a huge benefit of being light weight so it can swing easily in such kind of terrain, but in case of Thar it is totally different, it much more heavier and especially if you have bought Thar ROXX it is much more better for a highway or for city driving if you want to do such activities better you should buy 3 door Thar👍
