That seems like a lot of work to simply turn on the lights, defrost and air conditioning. (turning these three things on separately is a lot less time than pressing the door ajar switch 10x)
This is the same thing a dealer would do, granted most dealers have consult or some other program to do the same things without the manual pressing shit lmao😊
Well you're an idiot😂 how would you possibly fuck up your car doing this? So what you are saying is if anyone replaces a part for their car that’ll make things worse. It doesn’t cause a problem, if it did they wouldn’t have this smart feature. It’s helpful for body shops when u wanna make sure stuff works. Do research before you comment🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
There's a better feature -the don't mess with it button in the head, click 3 times in the side of your head and say "don't mess with it" , I'm an auto tech I've been in the business for over 30 years and all I tell ppl is to not mess with these things, take it to a well recommended shop or dealer.
I clicked because it said nissan, but the moment I heard IPDM I knew it didnt apply to me, my truck barely has a TCM,ECU and SECU newer cars have 5 times that amount
💯%🎯🎰‼️‼️‼️ I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THIS… no if it reset things such as your thermostat/climate control in the car, heated seats/heated steering wheel, basically reset something that is not easy to do… Maybe you have a fuse out and you want to double check, then, that would be different! I use my lights, my horn I can press once, or I can simply lock my car and find out if it works… My windshield wipers. I can turn on in two seconds as well. I can’t remember if there’s anything else… Lol. I mean I can’t see the purpose of this, either to be honest with you! And there is a mechanic in the comments who said “this is the absolute worst thing to do, I tell my customers to never do anything like this”. He’s right, because we don’t know how to fix the damn thing if now your lights don’t turn off… Or your horn or windshield wipers. Keep going crazy! there’s no second part of the video for that… Lol. And if it’s a quote, that’s impossible, it would never happen”, one you don’t know that… Two, what do I do if it does happen? Lol. Thank you for being logic and normal. TERESA!
All these comments about ruining your vehicle is a joke. This is made for diagnostic issues, to see if you have an issue of some kind. Its just a diagnostic run through, nothing more.
Do I have to have my key fob?To do this action of starting the car and then pressing the button on the door... I'm trying to find out how to start the car without a key fog.It has been lost ... How to start with, no keys at all
I did this with my 2017 Maxima it worked out for me..... but how do you turn it off..... lost sleep last night..... between the flashings lights and the horn chirp I thought someone was trying to steal it 😂😂😂😂.
The better question would be for why?.. and how come is not a “known” thing when purchasing a car that has that “feature”.. they call it a feature but sounds more like a money grabbing thing 🤷🏻♀️ 🤦🏻♀️
Please excuse my ignorance but in what situation would a person want to use this IPDM: Intelligent Power Distribution Module test? I have a 2018 Nissan Rogue SL and my Mom has a 2023 Nissan Rogue SL... If you could give a real world example with a Nissan Rogue SL that would be even better! I love "hidden" tips and tricks! Do you have a playlist that is just about Nissan hidden tips and tricks?
On another note dont buy a nissan sedan over 100,000 miles . I bought a used 2016 altima with 60k and exactly at 100k im selling it. The cvt starts issues after 125k miles. 150k miles if you are lucky. My wife 2014 optima is at 220,000miles no issues at all.
Yeah nissans are trash but im driving an altima from 2008 with 277,457 miles on it and man i had to switch just a few parts and its still going strong compared to a 2016 nissan sentra with only 60k miles my transmission went out and i have that car up older is usually better when it comes to nissans
It depends on driver. There is someone i know, his altima is at 500k+ miles and no issues. If you take good care of your car like putting the best oil, fuel, etc.. and drive smoothly, maintain properly and care your vehicle. No issues.
