I wonder how they´ll handle the 100 meter titan though, considering that in the manga it has all of its organs fully exposed plus the fucked up face. I doubt they´ll show that in the anime.

Well, they wouldn't get more Ackermanns with Mikasa's mother from Asian clan. They were going to sold them off because they were the last living members of Asian clan within Walls. Human traffickers wouldn't necessarily know about Ackermann clan.

It’s just that for some sinking feeling, I feel that the Ackermann clan are known for their combat prowess and I wouldn’t put it pass the people in shadows to get more Ackermanns to use as bodyguards of a sort. What I was suggesting before was that the human traffickers in season one, while not knowing the importance of the name of Ackermann and knowing that Mikasa and her mom were the last Orients, could’ve been used to have more of the Ackermann clan. Now, that line of thinking is kind of wrong because the dad should’ve been the one with the name and passed it down, it still doesn’t shake that feeling that Ackermann is just more than a name reveal and that it has something to do with Historia

They talked about Levi and Mikasa having the same last name last week. There is currently not enought information to theorize with since there are only two possible options right now: ●Kenny took the name Ackermann to mess with Levy ●or Kenny is a relative (I'm a anime only so that's just my perspective)

Kind of his point though, not enough to theorize as is currently xD Watching just the anime, I *am* intrigued but I don't think I saw anything that could shed some light on it. Maybe they come from a special bloodline, since in the beginning Mikasa's family was being targeted for being "rare" and it is quite suspicious that the army knows as much as they do about a random kidnapping that happened in the middle of nowhere. My current prediction is that maybe the Ackerman family is important and the murder/kidnapping of Mikasa's family was ordered by the government, but why or how special are they idk, my only theory is that the Ackerman family might have come from outside like the Warriors, just much longer ago, and they are either put in jobs where knowing the truth behind the government doesn't matter (like Kenny), hunt down and killed (like Mikasa's mother) or left alone once it begins clear that they don't actually know jackshit because they're just kids of older Ackerman (like Levy and Mikasa).
