Come on, dears. We all love Dimash and his SOS, but it doesn't mean that we can't appreciate other artists too, let's show some respect and appreciation for others' work too.
@@estera4176 The majority are nice but a small minority are idiots and needs to understand that what Dimash did with that song is very different from what the authors wanted. You can like the version you want but trashing other singers just because they are close to the original is ridiculous. Even the opera version is 100% different from what Dimash did.
@@isabelle133 I personally like when Dimash changes songs and makes them his own. He's not trying to be close to the original, but to adapt it to his voice and leave his mark. It shows his artistry. And this is subjective, some people probably have certain experiences with the original and don't want to hear it any other way, and I get it. But there are plenty of toxic people on both sides, and everywhere in this world, who can't give their opinion and move on without trashing and bashing people and other artists. Every fandom has uneducated fanatics, you can't change that.
@@estera4176 What I find really ridiculous here is that Dimash decided to sing it after he heared it from other singers. He probably liked other versions that some of his fans are trashing.
I’ve seen Dimash’s version probably 5 times, but Nuno’s, at least 20. His subtle version, the feeling he puts into this song... plus he is a mature, sexy, strong man.
@@tiagomarques7628 it's not a joke because dimash is a better singer than this man but he sing this music better than dimash because dimash can't sing in french
Having a preference of singers is in part subjective to the listener, although there is skill involved as well - there is nothing stupid about using educated judgments based on either. Anyone who's ever studied music knows it is much easier to sing 'la la la' than it is to sing using words in a language, which is far more difficult. That makes Nuno Resende objectively a far better singer than Dimash - the latter is cringeworthy in his singing this song, because he doesn't know French on any level. Nuno Resende has immense control of his voice and enunciates perfectly well.
Dimash is very good.. but he should learn the accent... I don t like the words when they are not accurate.. if he learned french.. it would be much better..
Same here,.. to bad many people complaining about how to pronounce instead of how to sing,.. music is potion for the soul, it should be universal and not limited by "human language"..
This guy doesn't have the 6.5 octave range of Dimash... but he has a better recording voice... and this version, especially the accent, is absolutely beautiful...
Finally, I get to watch the original version SOS d'un terrien en détresse. Most of us never heard this piece before. Thanks to Dimash for reintroducing this beautiful song.
I clicked this to see the floods of comments of Dimash - I'm proud of the dears! This guy is an amazing singer! I think when you're against the best singer in the world who has covered the song, you'll be overshadowed. Without thinking of the angel's voice, this guy did an incredible job, the second best in the world! Honestly, I'd love to be second to Dimash. I think Dimash shows more fluidity in his vocal techniques, his ability is outstanding and unbeaten, along with his inhumane range. Dimash will always be number one but this man truly did the song justice💖
Do Brasil
This is honestly one of the best versions I’ve seen of this song. It’s got the poppy/rocky element necessary to give the song its special vibe, it just suits it, unlike _a certain Kazakh opera singer_ that everyone seems to be comparing this to (who does, admittedly, have an amazing voice). The high notes in this performance sound so much more stable and sophisticated than most singers, and none of them are really pitchy. Well done!! Will definitely revisit this performance.
Come on everyone stop comparing him to Dimash... Dimash has his own way. Both are excellent.
Very nice rendition of the song. I first listened to this song sung by Dimash, and they are both different. Dimash is pitch perfect and is an extremely powerful and skillful singer, and this performance by Nuno has better pronunciation and emotion, and probably more life experience to bring out the feeling. Thank you to all these great singers for bringing the best of music to us!
u gotta understand dimash isn't French but he can sing magically nonetheless in multiple languages but its hard to have that certain tick and sound in your voice from being your native language your singing in when Dimash sings a song in his language he sounds so emotional and powerful
Joshua Riches there are another singer from Kazakhstan sings this one if anyone interested to hear his name Kairat Tuntekov/Кайрат Тунтеков he sings in Singer 2018 Kazakhstan I think 2018 if you search it. And egree with you all what you said about Dimash to me he is an human angel with angelic voice My respect to all wonderful singers in the world Thank you
Everyone is talking about how great Dimash is (and he is) but Nuno over here is killing it and he has something that Dimash did not convey while singing (in my opinion) and that is heartfelt emotion. Nuno is singing from the heart in a way only a French speaking native can relate to the song whereas Dimash transformed the song to display his vocal ability (and he does have great vocal ability!) but I think the emotion part fell flat because you can tell he is immensely pleased with his performance (smirking) while singing the song and I think his display of pride in his vocal abilities takes away from the desperation and sadness of the song. Therefore I prefer Nuno's version.
i think this guy emotion is not that great either. not a dimash die hard fan, but i think dmash emotion is equally powerful as this guy. i think some people is so against dimash type of voice becoz his is not always manly. still, dimash voice is so pleasant to the ear and his emotion is not lacking and is definitely not flat
Here me out... I know that Dimash is absolutely amazing and no one can compare to him in his perfection. But... the imperfections and vulnerability in Nuno’s voice is so moving. Dimash might have him beat vocally, but Nuno brings raw emotion.
Wow, what a great job on this song. He really works hard to add some energy to the awkward high note passes of this original version. I have watched several singers now singing this original version and I think this guy did it very comfortably and very well. I love the little bit of rock/metal flair he gives to parts of it. I would love to see this guy sing the Dimash version of this song because I bet he would do very well with it.
This is the best version for me, and I heard A LOT of them ever since Dimash sang it, otherwise, who knows when would I find out about it. Dimash shows the most skills and versatility and I have his version on my phone :) but I like the simplicity of Nuno's version, musically, and his voice is just stunning. He is puling those notes precisely each time, it's just gorgeous, and his tone if beautiful.
To say not to compare it to Dimash is silly, of course you will naturally do that. The nice thing is these other singers who do SOS are getting WAY more views now because Dimash made this song so famous. There are some awesome non-Dimash SOS performances that both show incredible talent AND highlight how off the charts Dimas is. Thanks Nuno...
Excellent interpretation. I discovered Nuno Resende while listening to Julio IglesiasJr “ Lá Camisa Negra”. What voice! A bit late as I am already 83 years old.
A great version of SOS - I have heard a number of performers sing this very difficult song and as much as I like these versions I have to say that the version by Dimash Kudaibergen would have to be tops !
Impressive, always so impressive when you sing this song!!! Because of its technical difficulty that does not seem to bother you at all, but also because of the emotions you express so well. THX !!!
I love Dimash but if you use your brains right then you would know singing like Dimash male and female opera voices then pop all of a sudden... and all the mixes in 1 song, a real singer knows this doesn't fit and sounds weird as fuck no matter what skills he shows... that's why he isn't a star like Stevie Wonder and all the rest👍
@@trunksissa2616 it's weird that you claim to love Dimash yet in the same breath do your best to discredit his artistry. This prodigy and classically trained singer with two music degrees under his belt, awards galore, a master thesis in composition to complete this year then doctoral studies and a teaching career to follow when he's done performing for an ever growing global fan base, and you look down on his crossover genre as not what real singers do? So hilarious! And then to top it off you compare a young hardworking artist with American old timers? Im afraid your logic is askew. Please do a little research, enlighten your mind.
@@trunksissa2616 And who decided that? Innovators and inventors are the ones who move the world forward. And the biggest stars are not necessarily the most talented, but those who appeal to the lowest common denominator and to what is trendy.
I came into this thinking I wouldn't care much for it, because it's difficult to top Dimash. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. I really love the style he's using and what a range!
Wow!Quelle performance.Je vais me commander ses DVD.Trop bon!
Tony Rojas I think it’s great that Dimash enjoys exploring genres and different languages, but sometimes his pronunciation kind of ruins some of the lines in the song...
Gulfinar Asmanova Kudaibergen, Grégory, Balavoine, and Nuno do not matter to me, for me they all have different styles, interpret it differently, and they are all 4 very good !
Dimash sings this very well but this man sings it with the PASSION it deserves and is excellent! I appreciate Dimash's range. It is exceptional. But, there's more to singing than range. However, in time I imagine Dimash will get better when he comes to having presence and decides his own unique style. I do admire him. So please don't misunderstand. This guy ROCKS!!!
Kudos to the writer of the song and he owns this and nothing can take that away from him. No matter how beautiful your rendition of this song it will always be a tribute to the writer and yes, you will never own this as all you can do is sing your heart out. To those who want to have tributes of their own, I suggest you write a great song as well.
