To me the real outlaw and rebel is the man who likes to ride alone. He does not like being told when, where and how. He keeps his circle very small. I personally am a introvert and a loner, except for a very small circle and family. I love riding alone and not obeying anyone. To each their own.

I ain't been in a club. I was banging when I was younger. But I did get addicted to pain meds when my mom past. Had a ultimatum to get clean or lose my daughter. Been clean 8yrs and got rid of everyone that did drugs or drank. It's just me and my daughter now and it sucks gets hella lonely but im wouldnt change it for anything. I love my daughter more then life itself and feel that I will either be single for the rest of my life or will find a good woman but I ain't trying to because I'm trying to get myself outta the hole I put myself in when I was using. Only thing that keeps me from being super depressed is that it could be worse. #GHOSTIN

Sose, like i said before, I've been independent all my life. At 70 years old, i love riding alone, but from time to time, I've ridden with small and large groups. I've always respected both sides, both ways of life. It's probably what's kept my sole!!! You've got the right attitude. Keep the rubber side down dude and keep on truck'in !!!!

I’m an oddball. I’ve always craved freedom, camaraderie, adrenaline, women, and many other things that come with being in a 1% club. But I’ve never been much of a party guy: I don’t drink or smoke, I don’t do well in loud crowds, and I’m not very good at starting conversations. So I’ve always wondered if, even though I’m a firm believer in liberty and living on the fringes, I’d be shunned by a club for not having the same spirit of fun that a lot of them have.

because of my Job With Harley-Davidson I moved alot and i loved my clubs and my time in clubs, but my Family and Career always came 1st, the clubs were always 3rd, and because i was that way, i never stepped up above a Support club or an Outlaw RC, both allowed me the freedom i needed, and it's funny Some of the clubs i was in all these years later the members are all still my brothers, and then some of the clubs when i left, they didn't know me after i turned in my cut, there are days when i miss the more outlaw leaning club life, but now i'm Retired and a member of a HOG chapter and an AMA club both buy into RC's and that also works for me because i can join in when and if i want to, or i can do my own thing.

I'd like to add a general thankyou. I've just recently got into bikes. It's been really helpful understanding the protocol of 1% mc's. I have a friend of mine ( male) who is a member of the bandidos ( UK). I've been invited to do a photoshoot and was a bit hesitant. Now I know ladies are respected I feel much more at ease. I thought a few times. Probably better to be a line wolf with cred, like Sose, is best. Reason being; if you're in a club then it could be hard to get "rival" clubs to come get an interview or talk with neutrality without ticking someone off. But he needs the cred to prove he knows what he's talking about and the guests and world know he's coming with a good heart.

i feel that this is the reason the hang around process is the most important one ,it really is a life long choice and you are able to see what you are getting yourself into and if you are really down for the legit 1% lifestyle. dont waste your future brothers time or your own to go threw all the steps to get fully patched in and then quit seems silly but shit does happen turn all gear in rag, rings, buckles exc all that shit is a lease and keep the reason you left the club between you and the club dont go talk shit about the club just bow out gracefully in the short time i have been a hang around for one of the big 1% clubs i have seen guys quit and be put out on bad we are to delete them off all socials and out of our phones thats with the club im hanging around with. keep the real videos coming my man much love and respect Sumo

Thank you for this video. I am currently prospecting for a regular MC and like you, I'm extremely introverted. I really don't I talk to a lot of the guys and it's nothing that has to do with them. I struggle with going to events, meeting people, and shaking hands. I always stay quite and keep to myself in the background. I have not been to many of the events or meetings because I have been busy. Also, I really do enjoy riding by myself. I hate being close to people when I'm riding. I'm retiring out if the army soon and plan on doing a solo riding trip. Part of my is just waiting for them to say I don't fit in and turn in your cut. Like I said, there is nothing wrong with the club or the guys I ride with. It's really just me enjoying being alone.

From what I have seen, from the supporters view anyway, is that as long as you are not asked to leave, your kicked out, or if you leave bleeding (or worse), you can stay at least friendly. Some people I know who’s local club patched over to a national club, decided they didn’t want to be part of the new club, and are still on good/friendly terms with all the members (both from the original club, and the new club members…

Leaving the mc was a big adjustment! I was one of those ppl who was in 110% and didnt have many friends outside the club and i found myself to become very lonely for a long time man.

The points you described are some of the reasons I never joined an MC. I still have relationships with members of an MC, but I RESPECT all men that have joined any MC. I have great respect for all patches and men that have pledged fellowship to an MC.

I left my club 15 yrs ago , it was a hard transition to civilian life , although i was still well known in the confederation in our state , other clubs wanted me to “patch over “ , and i thought it was not right givin the situation between some of the clubs , ( no names mentioned here ), i did 18 yrs in my MC , made my bones early on , had a blast , and also had some very hard times , burying brothers , legal shit , etc , the thing i miss the most was the long runs , road day , the camaraderie w my brothers , but these days , i am way to busy w working towards a good financial future , i bought a house , got a wife w medical issues , and trying to make life comfortable as possible , i am 52 now , club life is over for me , I also feel like it’s way different then when i was in , idk , it’s to damn commercialized now , it used to be for a select few , and civilians didn’t know about how things are w us , i liked it that way , now it’s like a Hollywood movie it seems , every time i turn on the tv there is some show about a club on , revealing how they work , what happens at church , what this means , what that means , i mean wtf ? Nah , i am good riding solo these days , had my time , it’s better this way , love ur content sose , keep it up !

One thing I have always respected about the clubs, once you are in you are in and that's that. I rode with the Angels when I was 14, that's right a mascot. I rode a 750 Norton and knew about many back roads fun to ride. Then I rode for a while with the Jokers and same, same. Not prospecting, just a kid with a bad ass bike and a lot of stories. At 38 I worked for the Bloods, yo Sose, but never "joined". When I was 13 I was coached by the SF mafia in Cali. What a good life. I have had the same crew of homies since childhood. We now all ride together pretty much daily but we don’t claim ourselves as a club and have set rules etc. We just meet up and ride and have one another’s backs. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Never been in a club, but I was in a cell for a year with a 1% club member, he had more visitors than anyone I had ever seen, and more mail! But living that close we became pretty tight homies! So I got to see all the drama, bs, and backstabbing, that he had to deal with, once we were released and on the streets I was invited to that clubhouse numerous times always got along great with everybody there, but I will say it was only because of the respect I had for my boy, and my lack of need for any kind of drama! I always get my circle small and did my own thing! Years later I heard that one of the Big 4 shut them down with an option to patchover! I havn't seen my boy for years now! I forgot to mention he was locked up for taking a drug rap for the club! One of the most stand-up men I've ever met in my life! I hope you're doing well my brother!

Big adjustment when riding with other friends after riding with the club. Having to readjust to guys that don't know how to ride in a pack. Nice not having to worry about do's and don'ts.

I grew up around nothing but Locs so naturally i went that route but i always had alot of love and respect for the MCs they have a strong unity that other street organizations lacc. Much respect

Most of these people commenting are from stable lives and humble beginnings. I don’t come from either! In an orphanage HA always came over to take use to a restaurant or a movie. They hung around with us and even joined our bonfire cookouts we had many nights at the state ran facility. I have never been abused, beaten or screamed at by HA. The cops used to see us walking down the sidewalk after school from running track and beat our butts because we had nobody to cry to… unwanted kids are always picked on. I could explain more but HA never did me wrong. I still remember them

I once belonged to a mc. Was even a officer for a couple of terms. But as time went on and brothers came and left, it seemed like a click was here and a click was there brothers were starting to be against one another. I just wanted to be one again but not to be. So I finished my term as a officer and had my time in I retires from the club. Felt lost for awhile but really got to liking my freedom and now it's just me and my OL and we just love riding.

I'm about to leave a regular club due to "being torn apart" as I have a shitload to do at work, basically worked ovetime every day this year and I feel like I'm not there for my club... So I'm going to leave, get my head in order and still be a friend of the club, I have no issues with it (apart from the "forced meetings" and things you stated in the video, those things aren't for me) and they'll lose a patched member but they'll keep a friend and maybe even gain a troubadour that can play during a pubnight. (as I love music and playing music frees my mind of every other thought...)

NGL...i have bros that get pissed that I can't make shit at times. I have a huge circle of friends outside of the club and there are other commitments that I have. I suggest you expand your circle from just your bros just like Sose said.

I've riden with many different people threw the years, there was never a full trust with the groups or solo riders. I've only had one person who I could ride with and we were on the same thought. We lost touch for twenty years and re connected two and a half years ago. It was like we never separated when we hit the rode for the first time again.. Finding brother's like that is a bond whether it's one or dozens of others. It's a ride you will always enjoy.. Plus smaller the pack less politics

Hows it going my man. This coming Oct will be two years I've been riding. I ride with up to five buddies and like most we love our HD and like to turn heads when we wear our skeleton shirts, leather coats, and chaps . Bro its alot of fucke fun to be a biker for the day or weekend . It is true what you said . I can't see myself given up all that wonderful freedom riding wherever and with whomever I want. Freedom to enjoy my ride with or without friends is a special thing for me. I've never been in a club and doubt very highly I will in my future. If being in a club means having ten times more fun than being solo or with a few friends then it makes sense. But if it isn't! Then why in the hell would anyone want to be part of one ...
