Taking pictures around outlaw motorcycle clubs and motorcycle clubs can be risky. We talk some biker life stories of situations involving taking pictures around outlaws. Motorcycle Clubs have rules and protocols that they follow, and they take it seriously. You violate you will get your but kicked at a biker bar or biker clubhouse. A mistake can cost you if you're not careful. DON'T DO THESE THINGS.

Yup. I was at a chopper show that was attended by the HAMC and while I was taking pics of all the bikes, there were a lot of times I had to be careful about my angles or wait for a couple guys to pass through the background before snapping my pic. Common sense respect.

Not just outlaw or 1% clubs, all club houses I attend I always make sure with the host if it's even ok to take pics in there clubhouse. Never had any issues. But great info for all to know no doubt

i was thinking about it for a minute. i remember i used to throw a lot of house parties. nothing biker related just regular house parties. my house is a place where people can just be themselves. speak off the cuff and just relax. a rule i have is no recording what goes on. to me its a violation of a privacy that is needed for the feeling of safety and security for everyone. people don't have to watch their mouths at my house parties. people can get stumbling drunk at my house parties. people can do crazy shit. my house is a sanctuary. the outside world is not invited. nobody gonna judge. nobody has to worry about people knowing what all went down. i won't tolerate it at a house party i throw. its nobody's damn business what goes on at one of my house parties. i totally understand the idea of respecting other people's houses whether its biker related or not. its just common courtesy i think.

It's Respect - i know we see ppl online record other people and claim it's their right - NO - it isn't - it's polite to ASK before you record or take pics of things that are not yours - same as touching things that don't belong to you - BOTH go hand in hand - yea ok - so you CAN record or take pics - well in that same boat the person you are recording or taking a pic of has the right to take it from you or give a good attitude adjustment - just because you CAN do something doesn't always mean you SHOULD - every choice has consequences - every action has an equal and opposite reaction - Great video Bro #Ghostin

A guy I used to ride with was the brother of a high ranking 1%er that passed. He got invited to the funeral ride and like an idiot took some under the table sneaky pics of inside their clubhouse and put them up on his Facebook. Ended up with him being pinned up against a wall while they deleted his phone. Only reason they didn't beat him was out of respect for his brother.

3-4 years back I walked out of La Providencia Grocery (a corner store on 21st & Paulina in Chicago, a predominantly Mexican American neighborhood and block) and was waiting for my friend to pay. I have never seen anything like this before or since: slowly I heard these ramblings of bikes and then it became louder and louder and at least a hundred of HAs took over the intersection. They had their patches on and it said "Illinois." They parked their bikes on the streets, in circular-like formation and literally took over that intersection. One block south blocking the street was a stage- they were setting up for a band or DJ- and a local bar, so I figured they were there to have fun. I wasn't intimidated. I was impressed by the types of motorcycles they had and their entrance. I immediately took out my phone and recorded them. The first motorcyclist to the intersection parked right in front of that corner store, got off, and told me to not post it to social media. I was disappointed because that's exactly what I wanted to do. We interacted a little more, but not much more. Neutral conversation. My buddy who is Mexican-American came out and was shocked. He started walking back to where we were going but he yelled at me and said, "C'mon!" and so we left. Later I heard that afterwards they went to another local bar, Harbees on 18th. I figured that they were there for more reasons than to have fun and were likely political. Either way, it didn't concern me. I can't find that footage so I must have accidentally deleted it. I never did post it.

I have gone into a clubhouse one time, and after understanding my surroundings better. Eyes open, mouth shut. I have actually asked for the phone box that they had. All was good and all that was said that it was appreciated and to not forget to pick it up on my way out. No problem and that was it. All good. Thanks for the vid Sose! That's one topic a lot of people don't know about: the taking pictures thing. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. I didn't know it could go so extreme but being someone who doesn't like my own picture taken (it brings me PTSD from my childhood) anytime I'm in public and have to do anything on my phone even answering a call or text I always make sure to walk away from others and keep my hand over my camera as well. My older brother (not biological his family took me in when I was 16) and I were at a charity ride once after I turned 21 where my brother and I both noticed some random person taking my picture which caused me to go into a full blown panic attack. My brother walked over to confront the guy (my brother is 6'10 so a bit imposing to a lot of people) but before he could get there a couple of MC club members who were there for the event (they were allowed to wear their cuts as long as there were no issues between clubs at the event) stopped him to ask what was wrong. My brother explained the situation, pointed over to me who was doubled over sitting on the ground rocking myself because it hits me that hard. Those two men walked over with my brother to have a talk with the guy and made him delete the pictures in front of them, then they walked with my brother over to check on me and ask if I was okay. And yes of course I thanked them because they didn't need to do that, they didn't know me at all. This is just one reason I will always have respect for ANY MC member no matter what. Thank you Sose!

One more thing to touch one. If you take a pic and you accidentally get a Diamond in your pic and post it. That Diamond can be wanted in connection with something, a warrant, or anything law enforcement related. I have noticed that when I see diamonds taking pictures they have their backs turn towards the camera. Great advice. Leave your camera in your pocket. I know sometimes it’s to take the awesome pic if you are riding in a big group and your lady pulls her camera out to take the pic. That might be a no no

I remember being invited to an open party organized in a club house and i saw a flag of the mc so i took my phone took a picture of it and then the sgt at arms come to me didn't say a word he just showed me a post on the wall that said " if you wonna get home in one piece don't take picture " i didn't freak out so i unlocked my phone and gave it to him he deleted the picture and told me to always read whats hung on the wall.

I respect the MC world. I went to high school with many, many bad dudes that ended up in a very well know outlaw MC, and I still keep in touch with a few of them today. Being Italian, its like we're born with and breed to give respect, when respect is given. Also being Italian, I have some very loose connections with people who have connections with one well know family based in NYC. They don't put out videos on the do's and don'ts in their world. Because you learn PDQ if you have committed a "don't". That part of Italian culture and their traditions go back over a century, and there is VERY little grey area for those that test it....believe me, it ain't pretty. I guess my point is, if people are dumb enough to do something like this, maybe they deserve what's coming.

I was at Laconia back in like 05,my parents were there too,my mother had her video camera out recording all the bikes on the strip,my mother didn’t even see this well known national one percenter clubs tent,so a prospect comes flying out and grabbed my mothers camera, I didn’t care about cuts or none of that, that’s my mother,he didn’t take it but like pushed it away screaming no pictures,I flew out of no were and snatched dude up letting him know that was my mother and too watch himself,I could have gotten hurt,I wasn’t with friends,but it’s just that switch that goes off,I kinda gotta problem with that as well,it’s main st. Laconia,,,,,2005,,,, very family orientated,,not like the old days,u don’t want your pic taken u shouldn’t set up shop right there,, my father played the back and acted like he wasn’t with us,,my and mom dukes couldn’t believe it,

I was eating in a restaurant in Ocean City with my mother 2 years ago and about ten Pagans showed up. We were all waiting in line to be sat together. One Pagans was up at the front signing in with the hostess. My mom and I were behind him and a few People behind us we're the rest of the Pagans. I had my phone out texting and I wasn't even thinking because my phone was pointing directly toward his patch. I think the guys behind me saw me on my phone because after dude went back and talked to his boys in came right up behind me and looked over my shoulder at my phone. I turned and he kinda startled me and was like "excuse me, did you just take a picture of me before?" And I was like "nah man I'd never do that. I was just texting" he was like "oh ok" he was real nice and respectful about it and I could totally understand why he thought that. My mom was like wtf was that about. I was like, I'll tell ya about it later.

@@SoseTheGhost Yea I mean , I knew about it then too I just wasnt thinking and it happened in a matter of seconds. IM just more cautious about that kinda shit now. The ironic thing is that Im not the type to text alot or be on my phone often. Also anytime Ive ever crossed paths with anyone in that particular club they have always been cool as fuck and real respectful.

@@SoseTheGhost I mean I’m pretty good at judging body language and most the time I agree but it was a different vibe/nod and they were all looking. I have a sweet old school carbureted softail so they might of been nodding about the bike.

I used to take pics of bikes because I like bikes untill some biker approached me & asked to see my pics ( I showed him) then asked why & he just wanted make sure I wasn't taking licence plate pics ( I wasn't) because I knew that's a no no. I don't take pics of bikes anymore because most bikers get weird when you ask to which sux because I liked taking pics of bikes.

Props Sose... Tell a story about outlaws... In my town there are outlaws and pistons... I'm 65 been 2 up for 45... Had a minor mix up with an outlaw... A piston came up into it.. I told the outlaw.. don't make a problem... Won't be one... Right then a sgt at arms step in an asked what the problem was.. I answered, ain't one yet.. he said.. ok.. then there ain't one... I'm a no patch long rider.. I'm strapped and know the deal... I stood ground and didn't over react... I got settled.. no blood... That's all I've got to say.... And btw.. only a dumbass would take pics around a club with out permission...

Always found it weird that bikers wanna go fight other bikes because they're club rules are different or for really any reason. You'd think everyone would want to get along and be the biggest group ever. Shame. Reminds me of street Gangs.... you walk down the street looking for yourself, and then you shoot.

I tried doing that at the club house (not a member just a person who’d drive by a lot) guy came running out asking who i was, where i was from. I showed him my phone and that i had deleted the picture. He said that’s not a smart thing to do, bc i could have gotten hurt. So i just apologized, didnt drive by it for like a month.
