Man when i go to Sosua i have so much fun immigration have to drag me back! Your experience is way different from mines when i go there!

I walked it the first time just to get the feel for it. I wouldn't say it is overrated at all. It just depends on how you move. The way I move the daytime vibe suits me better. The casino serves a purpose if you are in a group of guys or you have regulars or a gf type chick setup. If late night is more your thing than daytime than the casino is a blast. I am a morning person n solo traveler so I agree with Ice for how I move.

Yea i will say between walking around late night in Santiago & Sosua, that's the only thing that made me uncomfortable. Cars and bikes slowing down and the fact that all the car windows in tinted crazy lol. Sh*t be having ya spider-senses going off crazy.

Haha man my friend and I used to walk back from the casino and never had any issues but locals did say many times not to walk it.
