SOTD: SALT by Ellis Brooklyn, an easy breezy salty suntanny delight ⛱🌊 

Love this scent, I picked it up for my birthday this year.

Stash, mountains, clean farm and cousin salt living in a cottage BY THE SEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM DEAD!!!!!!! I need to see that show!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’ve been wearing Salt a lot lately, and it’s a love for me!! When I bought the travel size this past winter, I knew it was my style and I knew I liked it… But last week when I wore it to the beach for my walk, on a day that was warm but with that little mist rolling across the beach, I am telling you this scent became so gorgeous! I couldn’t stop smelling myself! I knew right then that I will have to get the full bottle! (Soon!) 🤩 I love your description of Salt as a “boyfriend scent”, that is the perfect way to describe it! I also love Fawn by Ellis Brooklyn which reminds me more of the Sunkissed Hibiscus or Beach Walk vibe.. Anyways.. I also watched your video on Chant d'Extase and it sounds like something I would love! I’m considering getting it… (I already own and love JHAG Vanilla Vibes, CK Reveal and other salty scents so it sounds right up my alley) But what I’m wondering is, how does it compare to Salt? Would you say there are any similarities? (Besides the gorgeous blue bottles!) 😉 Lol

Pretty bottle for sure, and I agree that the notes you read don't seem to fit with something that looks like that and is called SALT. I love the reviews on Fragrantica! Some people are so funny. Glad to have had you along this morning. I had cappuccino with cinnamon and YOU!

I agree, that bottle is beautiful and like you said, is so nice that you can see how much fragrance is left inside. I tried a carded sample of this and liked it. It lasted about 2 hours. Which is nice because I really enjoyed the initial spray, or I can decide to put on a night fragrance without having to wash off my morning, or “run an errrand” scent.

I just love 💙 SALT. So fresh and natural and yet to me it has a femininity that I just love. I have almost used up my travel spray. I want a bottle. Tre bottle is so pretty. I have gifted 3 travel sprays. I think it is safe for any age. For me It agrees with my chemistry and it lasts. It has made it into my top 10 and I am super picky, but fragrance is so subjective. I don’t get the bad reviews. Sometimes I think there are politics involved in those reviews. Some just do not make sense at all.

I recently got a sample of this and it smells exactly like a margarita to me. Like if you salt rim the glass by dipping it in lime juice and then salt, then put a margarita in it, it would smell like this. It stays super close to the skin, turns ambery smoky on the dry down, and smells very sexy to me. Too bad it doesn't last more than 2 hours. However I might buy a bottle just to spray on me for fun. I have nothing quite like it in my collection.

I need to try Salt again...I tried the sample last year and all I smelled was salt air from the ocean, very light. Not interesting enough to try again...but I've seen two completely different review of this so now I'm curious.

I got this..It’s pretty good. There is something in it that doesn’t vibe on me..like it (not a love). Love the bottle tho 💙🤍

I bought a sampler set from this brand and they aren’t for me. They don’t last on my skin and for many of them I get a linear soapy scent and it’s not what I was looking for. I have a sample of this one but I haven’t tried yet. ☺️

Fresh cut salt, water and nothing else!!!!! The bad thing is that it doesn't smell like sea water. It's not an aquatic perfum, unfortunately!!!! The worst is that it's feminine. You don't want to smell like a woman, right??
