Soul Asylum - Runaway Train Live (Super Bowl Live Performance) 

I've just recently became a fan! Any albums or songs you reccomend?

I vividly remember being a new fan, way back in the summer of 1999. I bought a copy of Grave Dancers Union and a copy of Let Your Dim Light Shine. I listend to both albums on repeat all summer and by autumn I had become a life-long fan!

@@lamasu8060Also, I reccomend listening to We 3 (originally from the album And the Horse They Rode in On) and Can't Even Tell (recorded for the soundtrack to Clerks.) Being a fan of Kevin Smith's movies in the 90's dovetailed beautifully into being a Soul Asylum fan. Dave Pirner even put together an amazing soundtrack for Smith's third movie Chasing Amy (which, sadly, never was released on CD.)

This was before the SB, and halftime acts have to lip synch and especially have music prerecorded because of the tight time schedule

@@Kevin-tz2lv ​ vocals are usually live but sang along to prerecorded tracks. Because the halftime sets are being changed and moved around constantly so the chances of something going wrong while having to mic every instrument plus vocals is too high for the NFLs liking. Since it’s one of the most viewed events in the world

This song helped a lot of people, solved mysteries, gave justice, helped heal wounds and bring closure for many families.
