Well, Siegfried didn't become the main character until 3. Mitsurugi was designated as the protagonist in Soul Blade, then Kilik in SC1, then... really, no one in SC2, as the box arts didn't present a character front and center, but rather four faces around a sword that varied between consoles (at that point, they flat out booted Siegfried from the roster except as an unlockable costume for Nightmare). It was in 3 and 4 Siegfried was the designated protagonist facing off against his dark side until SC5 when they tried to shoehorn that irredeemable prick Patroklos into the story as the hero. As for 6, I dunno; haven't really played it that much.
@@davidrice4639 ahh wow, OK... yeah I'm mostly familiar with Blade and just small parts of the rest of the games and remembered seeing a lot of Siegfried. good to know tho that at some point, Mitsurugi was the main character at least.
