Thank you! I also discovered that when you use assassin's invisibility skill when the first row of lasers start, you fully dodge the entire ability. Within the case of this video, I did not use the skill because I was using it to gain extra damage. So if you find the laser barrage hard or pretty much tired of grinding the boss to get those blueprints, you can try this character. I still recommend practicing the boss' ability so that you won't get dependant towards it.

@@perilouspiers hey I don't know if you remember me but I had asked you about if I should use rogue and if not which free to play characters I should use turns out I actually hit it off with knight skill 3 and have beaten him 8 times he dropped 1 blue print If I may ask how many kills did it take you to get all of the blueprints cause it sure is taking a lot of time for me

@@manas1161 I got my first after (also) 15 kills, my second one was after 24 kills. My drop rate was very unlucky, other people that I know got both after 10-20 kills. Hope you get the other one soon.

I got mine after my 9th win yesterday It was good finally after taking almost 30 plus hours lol

Yes, me too !!! but the blueprint fell out of the boss's ease immediately. And yes, the Taoist is definitely very comfortable here. I got the blueprints on it

I thought it got nerfed? Not sure though. My only problem with it is its energy usage but it is indeed a strong weapon.

I do it as well, you can see the blood blade as my second weapon. Just didn't use it to get higher dps.

Thank you! this run gave me good buffs and items and thankfully, I only had two rapid laser phases since it was defeated fast enough. I believe you can attack while at that phase although it's really hard especially when you're trying to focus on dodging.

The boss is pretty much simple to handle, the only hard part (for me) is by getting there.

All starter weapons at Rush to Purity mode are at base version (not upgraded) and have a color blue sprite, only available at that mode. Additionally, I'm (still) using patch 3.3.1 where Sir Violet's laser grid attack has shorter safe spots. Today's current patch is 4.0.2 (which I still haven't checked yet), if Rush to Purity mode doesn't give the starter weapons the blue skin then, I can safely say that patches between 3.3.2 and 3.30 have it.

Oh rogue is a fun one, trust me.

It's assassin. I'm using the 3rd skill (invisibility).

I think it's random. It's not going to be that hard if it's consistent. If you watch each laser barrage, you can see that my moves are different from another.

There's split second of invulnerability in the lasers before they take effect/damage towards the player....that's what I have seen when I was fighting sir violet

The timer doesn't matter when you fight sir violet and after it but you have to finish the boss rush (bad-ass) in 17 minutes to reach the boss I was just surprised because my total timer + sir violet is equal to 12 minutes, the time needed to beat the boss rush speedrun achievement

All base character weapons at rush to purity mode have a color blue sprite aside from the original. No stats changed, just the color. It's also exclusive at that mode only.

If you're asking about how to access this boss, I'll give you some steps how to: (Warning- spoilers ahead) • download the most recent update of soul knight (3.3.1); the update was given at 3.3.0 but 3.3.1 has hotfixes • talk to the Valkyrie (Boss Rush) and she'll give you a guide on how to access both boss rush and rush to purity mode • In short, rush to purity requires to enter boss rush mode without any weapons (can be removed using trash can); buffs from vending machine, garden, magic well, garden pets, drinks, & holy statue; no armor mounts; and no challenge conditions. You can optionally choose if you'll enter normal or bad-ass mode after doing the requirements. It'll give you a white portal instead of the red one. You'll have to defeat the game under a set time to fight the new bosses. For normal mode - Sir Sangria and for bad-ass mode - Sir Violet. Blood blade was gonna help me remove the red bouncing orbs from the boss but I forgot that I have melee. I had the damage to defeat the boss fast enough. It's the base/starter blood blade (2 attacks per hold) with a different sprite color (blue). There's nothing different with the item stats, just the color, exclusive for rush to purity only.

It's an exclusive color sprite for rush to purity. All base character items (ex: bad pistol) have the said color sprite. No stat changes were made, just the color.

@@stinkendersahnebacardi3677 Right, I pretty much know how the boss works but it gets inconsistent sometimes. Rng is my only problem and I also experiment things a lot just to find different challenges so getting dependent over an item/skill won't work well on me.

@@perilouspiers if u are talking about rng in rush to purity rn i can rly recommend to upgrade your crit rate and to reset until you get cristal crabs katana , it's rly op or playing engineers second skill with the C6H8O6 equiped , high defense with good gunpowder
