Still making my way through this video, but I really enjoy it so far. Great to hear some thoughts on the new book, the insight is valuable and I think you brought up some great points. It is frustrating how the healing/model regeneration works and it's a shame it's as clunky as it currently is. This video is the only video on this new battletome where the focus was on analyzing rules and not just reading them out word-for-word and I really appreciate it. I can't wait to finish this video throughout the week during my commutes! :)

heyo, great vid but wanted to quickly point a few things out that I spotted that you can probably go back on on a followup, mainly with vykros: 1) the Pack Alpha hero action doesnt specify sumonable...korsagi guard and corpse carts are deadwalkers...yes RAW you can bring d3 of them back every player turn...a meme yes but still a thing. 2) you trash on some command traits and relics but you missed one bit of wording on the brackets, INCLUDING UNIQUE. These can go on named characters. You can pop the re roll charge on radakar (who still runs and charges btw and is cheaper now) or spore trackers on Gorslav, there are options that can make them MUCH better. 3) many of your general complaints (the amount of regen, bringing things back, points etc) are all solved in one way or another on some warscroll or a points drop or another so dont worry about it

Cheers! You've got some great points here. Corpse Carts are "Single" and I suspect that might already stop pack alpha from working with them but to my eye, the Korsagi thing does work. I suspect it will get errata'ed pretty quick but I'll definitely mention that when I get to their scroll. I did miss the unique units being able to take them. It's really nice that you don't miss out on your CT and Artifact if you take all unique guys and there's definitely some neat synergy there. I agree that the regen is much improved. The main gripe I still have is that they kept the clunky "heal OR return" thing but the rest of it is pretty good.

Enjoyable and informative vid to watch over the Easter weekend. Nice one. I like the laidback style and astute interpretations. One easy win for the follow-up vid would be timestamps so viewers can hop to the specific page that they’re keen to hear about eg ‘Vrykos 2:56:10’

Thanks for the support! Timestamps are definitely in the works :)

Great walkthrough/analysis, agreeing with most of your points, I'm frustrated by the keyword locking everywhere but it might make it so the lists are more varied which have some value (especially for GW...). LoB is the smooth brain best allegiance, Vyrkos I think aswell is very strong and thematic with completely different playstyles which is fun. LoN is a sleeper allegiance, you can really make some tricks which is how it should be with Mannfred and after playing Ironsunz for a while it is super powerful to charge in opponents turn. Monstrous rampage is at end of charge phase, unleash hell after someone finishes a charge so you can use both. Kastelai is pretty disappointing considering there is almost no synergy to fetch except Vhrodrais 1 ability to buff your vampire, so very one-dimensional imo. LoB seems just better for vampires. I wish the Might of the Crimson Keep included mounts considering LoB does, I also miss the old grave sand shard which was amazing. Avengorii is cool but still pretty boring artifacts/Command traits. Although you can do some fun tricks now with Lauka Vai and other monsters. Some minor points that I don't agree on: assuming d3 is 1 is just wrong, on average it is 2 as you know. Doomed minions is amazing, most armies have units nowadays which you want to kill, making Grave guard/ the VloZd hit on 2s is just bonkers vs those units. Amulet of Screams is stonks vs the most competetive lists. I'm really excited for the changes since there are so many lists to explore, before it felt like you handicapped yourself if you didn't include Mannfred in every list, which got repetetive, even though you are more restricted in this book (almost like 5 separate books) it creates more unique lists and playstyles which is fun!

Sounds spot on to me! I'll have to give the Amulet a go because it seems weak to me but I've never seen it in action. Doomed minions would be much better if your general didn't need to get within 3" to turn it on. I do know that d3 averages to 2 but mostly I'm just frustrated that this ability is random.
