Here is my broadened Overview/Analysis of Ivy in Season 2. Currently v2.05, Ivy has changed since v2.0.0 in terms of Soul Attack, Combo Routes & DMG Output. I discuss upon these topics including the new mechanics/moves we were given post Season 1 which apply to all characters. Important detail I forgot to mention: Resist Impact can also aGI Soul Charge Activation (4A+B+K). However, the timing is quite precise. Characters like Amy & Sophitia are more likely to perform this due to them being able to access it w/o using Meter like everyone else. Sophitia has to be in SC & Amy has to have PRP.

@@njparham3829 More DMG than the other option tbh. Most of Ivy's stuff got scaled (DMG Nerfed).

What I tend to do(bad habit) is to do either 88/22 (B), 6B and her soul attack move, get into SE and press 6AAA for my set up. It works all the times I use it. And I’m sad that she lost some of her ring out moves, and her damage being nerfed hurts. But this is a good video though. Although I never use the rising B move, hell didn’t even know about the rising A+B move.

VinoWoods For Offline it’s much slower pace. Online is a bit quicker. You essentially have to hit B for every whip hitting the opponent/ground. Tempo goes a bit up near the end of the string. I might do a video on it alongside SS/CS.

You are not alone. Many people, including myself, go through periods where we struggle with the same issue. Of course, we all deal with them in the best way we can and know how to at the time. It's important to embrace the journey with a smile. Meditation on how to handle common issue in our lives can be, and should be, the love and challenge of it all. In my experience so far, doing 214k into SE while Soul Charged makes opponents unprepared for the UB SE6aa. Also, Howling Spirits, which is also difficult to anticipate from a 214k transition, is a good pressuring move that leaves you at a frame advantage if guarded. Other than this and what you said, not much more use for 214k.

Thank you Amy. I still don’t understand why they would nerf three of Ivy’s ring outs. 🤔 they keep nerfing Ivy every update and yes they make up for the nerfs but they replace powerful moves for average ones. I hope they give her back one of her nerfed ring out.

I usually use 214 K SE after the ending of the 4.1 4.7UP Combo Sorry i forgot my notations for some reason lol.the opponent usually freezes n you can mix them up
