Glad that fans of Amy got who they wanted at long last. She looks great in terms of her design and play style. Hopefully this also confirms that Cassandra is on the way. From what I saw in the beginning of Sophitia's story, her new design looks nice on her.
@yatagarasuable I agree, tho only for characters that are not an original from the series (Geralt and 2B, it would make sense that the two characters that needed licensing to make would be DLCs, tho yes I know that previous games didnt include some licensed characters as DLC), but ofc they may need to at least milk the game for a while for dem $$$
Her play-style? It’s a variation of Rafael’s. This is not anything special. Same with Cassandra, who is a variation of Sophitia. And Rock, who is a variation of Astaroth. These characters were free in other games. Why not give us someone with actually uniques weapons and play-styles like Algol, Setsuka, Hilde, Aeon, etc?

I’m excited to see her soul chronicle. It’s almost confirmed they are going to develop her story into her transformation of Viola. So many references to her. The purple orb at 1:00 and all the quotes.
There is a lot of Viola hidden messages in here. From the purple orb to the mention of sleep in her special move (Violas was time for bed sleep forever in SC 5). Even the same thing she says about hope. I wonder if Azwel did something to her to make her become Viola hence why she says she won’t be an experiment. Or maybe Azwel or someone is after Raphael and wants to use Amy as his only weakness and she turns into Viola to go into hiding, which is why she says she can’t die because he would be upset. I’m just wondering because I truly believe Viola and Amy see the same person.

For real, doooood . Amy is fine i guess, but Sesuka or pretty much any other character would be a better addition to the roster. not really a fan of Gothic Lolita's myself.
I knew Amy and Cass were leaked and all but.... I just really wanted Setsuka. I was hoping they'd atleast give us Amy with Viola's style. Anyways I'm happy for Amy fans/mains :)
I remember when SC6 was first being shown off in these trailers and I was holding off asking for Amy because I knew there were other fan favorites that needed to get in first... but now WOW I'm SO happy right now! Finally I get my SC4 main Amy back and she's looking FANTASTIC! She barely plays like Raphael now with those elegant movements... and that outfit is too beautiful. So glad I got the season pass now... now after this, time to make way for Cassandra!
I never liked her before since she was too similar to Raph, but now that I see this I might use her. Looks way more unique now even though there's probably some Raph still in her movelist.
Amy was my main in 4 because I liked her personality. People say she is a copy of Raphael yet her moveset in 3 were mostly the moveset in character creation of rapier users and a bit of Raphael. The same in SC4. Pity in SC5 she is Viola. I honestly didn't like her changing her style to any orb. That's why I wish Viola was her own character and not an old character revamped.
Considering SC VI is acting as if SC V never happened (and rightfully so, it was largely hated), it is extremely unlikely that Viola, Ein, Patroklos (both variations), Pyrrha (both variations again) or Elysium will ever be added, hell, it's more likely we'd see Olcadan or Algol than that lot.
Well seeing as Azwel was watching her through violas crystal ball and hes got 'plans' for her 'bright future' it is entirely possible viola may make a return
Amy is goth AF and I absolutely love her for it. Her quippy sarcasm is savage AF and let's not forget she pushed that ngga Raphael down a flight of stairs into the dungeon at the end of 4 😂😂😂😂😂

Her best lines in this reveal in my opinion... "You disgust me" and that last line in her CE before piercing through Azwel but not quite sure what she said but to me it sounded like turd. Now every time I RE people i'm going to be looking forward to that "You disgust me" quote she is the essence of depression and I absolutely adore it.
Does anyone think that Amy vs. Azwiel scene might be hinting the birth of Viola? It’ll be interesting and maybe Amy will have a split personality like Tira. Just a hunch... I really want viola play style to be implemented. But yay, Amy is back!
100% I read up on violas lore and something I found interesting is that her blood type is listed as “twisted strings of red and blue” and that’s the same colors as Azwels magic. Also after 1:00 there are tons of references to Viola.

Yes! She is back! I noticed that her eyes are blue green instead of red like in Soul Calibur IV. Maybe because she was still human in Soul Calibur VI's point in time.

Shiro Tsuki In the beginning of the trailer, Raph is already in his deathmatch with Nightmare ala SC2, so by then, the wounds he sustains steadily turns him into a malfested
@@MarluxiaVI No Amy was turning into one like Raphael in 3 because at the end of 2 he was injured and become a vampire malfested thus the evil energy got to her as well hence why Raphael wanted the world to be like a better place for amy in 3 and 4.
My theory is that azwel probably sees potential in making amy his ally since she hates humanity and azwel wants to change humanity. I’m thinking that he ends up giving her magic that then changes her into what we know Viola as in ScV. There is definitely a reason there are huge hints to Viola and a reason azwel was shown. He literally makes references to her future and how she has to fight for it.

Lol "one" original" character. That's practically all this game had at release. You were esentially playing the SAME exact game as the other Soul Caliburs. Playing as all the same characters as the prior games. Nothing new. Pure lazy.

So glad to see Amy return to the series! She was my favorite character from 4, along with Talim and I’m glad both are back. Now my buddy, on the other hand. He won’t be. :3

There's no way to be different people... They have the same voices, similar phrases, similar clothing style, curly hair and even the faces of both are identical. If they are different people, they are at most twins, but I highly doubt it.

Please Namco, please have Samanosuke from the Onimusha series be in this game. He would work incredibly well with just how his character is. He could have two different critical edges because of his human form and his Oni form. He could turn into Oni with his Soul Charge and that could give him a massive boost in speed and damage. Ugh! I’m hoping! 😭
@@deusflexmachina Also keep in mind, there has been a Tekken/Street Fighter crossover already, and another one (possibly) still in development. There hasn't been an Onimusha game since the PS2, so the odds of a seemingly dead franchise getting any sort of representation is unlikely.

Very exciting so her story ties in with Azwel too makes it all the more interesting. Also cool to see the legendary scene where Raphael unintentionally purges Nightmare out of Siegfried in the canon of SC2. I hope we get both Hwang and Yun Seong as DLCs next.
@@KillaCheeto56 dont get me wrong tho, she looks cool and I'm glad she isnt a clone anymore. Because if they made her just take up a slot and still plays just like Raphael then that would have mad me livid.
Depending on what happens to the character select screen after Amy it may show evidence of both Hwang and Aeon (lizard man) being free dlc, just have to wait and see
