Preludes player here to give some minor context, primarily behind screenshots 9:30 Chests are similar to containers in warframe with random spawns and random drops, there are rarities but it isn't like genshin 10:00 You can throw your weapon, that area (Nightfold, basically your orbiter) is where you can access your "arsenal" which allowed to re-equip a weapon without recalling the thrown version 11:10 There's already mastery but no benefits, unclear if it's temporary or just work in progress 11:33 All ancestors have that filter around them, in earlier preludes the filter wasn't there 12:23 Only the right side is the playable area and the left is out of bounds work in progress (can still be explored via glitches but it's mostly empty with WiP buildings)

Public pre alpha will probably not be before November, after the tennocon feedback they are doing a bit more work on the combat, so that delays the rest a bit

11:03 glad u bring this up, I still remember when in early access people were calling Baldur's gate 3 a "Original sin 3" like if is a bad thing like a clone and re-hash assets, people seem to forget that ideas that can be re-used specially good ones.

The NDA for the pre alpha is basically just no streaming and no public videos, everything else is fine, you can talk as much and post as many screenshots as you want

As asmongold said, this game will die if DE dosent fix the combat system and the intense bloom, Hope DE fixes this soon

Soulframe looks a lot like duviri drifter combat which is the most clunky and sluggish melee combat I've ever played

@@ek9750 might look like that, but doesn’t play like it at all, I hate duviri combat, it’s just bad, soulframe doesn’t play like that at all, combat still needs improvement, but it’s already miles ahead of whatever duviri tried to be

@@ek9750 dude, while I agree with duviri being non-responsive, I would never judge a game by its gameplay by just "watching it" its meant to be played not watch, Monster Hunter still has the best combat to me of melee weapons in ANY GAME and before I played i thought it looked like the most clunky combat ever and I bet anyone new to the franchise would still think that
