You said D and I thought I heard B so I solo'd blues in B and it works but sorta as a mixolydian D and I know nothing about theory but my ear likes playing the B scale (minus a note here and there) and then going into a minior D and the flavor change is palpable! Thanks for inspiring the happy mistakes. Your channel does more than you might realize. :). The very least I can do is not skip through your ads at the beginning! Yes it is, with the blues scale and all of the notes there in. It can also be D pentatonic. If you are looking at the charts going by, he included every "blues' note on there.
I'm not much of a blues player but I used a lot of mixolydian on this, plus some D minor pentatonic to change things up. Do whatever works for you, man.
