Oooo weeee! This is exactly how I make my Pepper Steak too, except I put mine in the slow cooker and I thicken it after it’s done and then I make my rice as well. It reminds me of the Stouffer’s freezer version from back in the 80’s when both the pepper steak and rice came in a bag that you had to boil in order to heat it up.

I would have used the broth that the meat was simmering in. In fact, I would have doubled that cornstarch slurry and used both the meat juices and beef broth to make more gravy since it seems like that’s what people want on their rice.

I tried your fried rice, my family love it..every time I need a quick meal to cook..I ALWAYS go to your channel, keep those meals coming, and I will cook it...great god bless.

Baby you're an angel but ya gotta use less oil and higher heat. The beef should sear when it hits. The longer it sits in the oil the more it soaks it in. Trust me its better to sear it fast.. And personally olive oil gives steak a nice flavor
