phew. well ive been working on this for ages and what started out as a real passion project/one of the best things ive produced has steadily gone downhill. ive had so many technical issues with this project and so many points where it just hasn't been Quite Right that im drained as heck!
this video started from faayza (@cynicalromantic) and i discussing how in videos sometimes ppl seem to miss the POINT of this song and so i tried desperately to capture it here as thing song means so much to me. so i chose couples that to me felt like soulmates, like two halves of the same person, some who end up together and some who don't - but exclusively those couples where no one can understand them, not even themselves, better than that other person. from the beginning quote with sarah i tried to tell the story of what it's like to be completely and utterly absorbed by love for another person, both the good and the bad. i wanted to add a few more couples but honestly this video already felt very full as it was.
i pray someone enjoys this because ive poured my heart and soul into it, and my perfectionist ass just can't look at it anymore.
shoutout to my bf for uploading this because my internet is so crappy it couldn't even handle it, haha!
