Dragonslayer armor in ds3 is criminally underrated. I love bosses that are big brutes and it’s like a slug fest (like godfrey too). They’re so fun and dodge hit works perfectly with them. Wailing on eachother with a banger theme in the background is peak
Sekiro in general is underrated compared to the other games. Sekiro is the only game in the souls series that I actually look forward to the boss fights. In the other games I dont like fighting most of the bosses
I love Sekiro, but I feel like it just wasn’t played as much and as such underrated because people didn’t like the lack of RPG mechanics, and the games learning curve is absolutely wild. If you get past that barrier, it’s probably the most complete and best balanced fromsoft game.
Demon Prince is a straight up S+ tier boss. THE BEST duo boss Fromsoft has ever made, perfecting the Ornstein & Smough formula. But I vehemently disagree with Bloody Crow of Cainhurst, screw him
The second phase of demon princes also changes depending on which you kill. I forget now which leads to which, but the second phase can be a more melee centered fight, or a more ranged and magic fight. Really cool addition
I hate that for fortissax you will most likely fight him later in the game due to needing to do half of ranni’s quest just to fight him making a kinda easy fight
Renalla was an interesting boss because I absolutely destroyed her first try on my close quarters heavy build, but when I tried fighting her as a mage, I was on the struggle bus. Most other bosses until that point were relatively easy for me as a mage, but Renalla had a lot of help in the fight from summons or her weird crawling kids. Targeting her was a pain. It made me feel like how I imagine bosses are when the player summons friends to help them fight
Genichiro is my favorite in sekiro specifically the inner genichoro I know that Issin is a better fight but inner genichiro is probably in my top 3 enjoyment boss wise
Great list, couldn’t agree more with Renalla and Lady Butterfly. I never got the Renalla hate as I always felt this is as good as a mage fight could possibly be. And lady butterfly… I remember discussing her with a friend and comparing her to Sister Friede… and she’s the second boss in the goddamn game, that’s how I knew I was in for a ride with Sekiro.
I agree with everything, I only don't like renalla much because she's too weak against Mellee combat. I also don't like how much damage blood crow does, but for some reason, I still like fighting him nonetheless
Yes I fixed the audio for a lot of my recent videos! I decided not to monetize because it's already been seen by a lot of people. If this is the Duke Spade from chivalry we definitely have to catch up soon!
@@seanysalami I just prefer whittling down bosses' health and then piling on posture pressure after their posture regen is worse to kill them, usually using whirlwind slash. The boss having only one health bar just feels better. Also I think whirlwind slash is the best ash in the game, Even late game.
1. I actually like Corrupted Monk I love he the fight with him just flows, he's my 4th or 5th favorite boss in Sekiro not counting Inner versions. 2. Rennala is just a mediocre/decent boss, she's not bad but also not too good and she's a joke in the subsequent playthroughs. 3. Yhorm is just an outdated gimmick boss, Rykard showed that you can do a really good gimmick fight. 4. Lady Butterfly didn't felt like the 1st true boss for me, I killed both her and Gyoubu at my 4th attempt. I enjoyed the fight but she wasn't nowhere near the top bosses in Sekiro. 5. Gennichiro is exactly my 5th favorite boss in the series, so I pretty much agree. His only flaw is that he's really really easy on subsequent playthroughs.
Lady Butterfly feels like an easy top 5 Sekiro boss. In no order: Chained Ogre (first real skill check) Lady Butterfly Genichiro Guardian Ape Isshin HM: Owl
Godrick is definitely one of the more underrated bosses and one of my favorites. I had seen endgame spoilers but not much early game, and when he cut his hand off it was just so insane I fell in love with the fight. The moves are so fun to dodge and really made me fall in love with the souls series, because after beating er I got ds1 and ds3. (Side note: before I played I also thought Radahn was the final boss, which is ironic now 😂)
Never saw Gwyn before playing ds1. Right outside her chamber was the message “huge chest ahead” was fully expecting a large item chest. Glad it wasn’t what I thought…
I like it when people have different opinions on harmless topics like these, I for one absolutely can't stand rennala and always thought that she's a tad overrrated, I say this because everyone loves to comment about her arena and how beautiful it is, which I can't agree with either, to me it's an annoying boss, with annoying summons that make you run around for ages in a simple looking arena, but I do get why people like the visuals of this fight it's just not my cup of tea I prefer something more menacing like Bayle's arena or Gael's arena.
Demon prince, its funny to realize the best dragon in the series is a demon, most of Midir and post dragon/wyvern attempts and concepts comes from that boss, the best boss in The Ringed City by far, most successful concept of a fight against a giant winged beast, needless to say how well it executes the 1v2 concept from O&S. Ornstein & Smough is still best 1v2 though and Bloodborne, DS3 and DS1 are better than ER... quality > quantity.
Blood borne is my 2nd least favourite fromsoft game i like it but i just find it boring i dont like the bosses (i havent played the dlc but they look cool) my favourite game is ds1 but i think elden ring has the best boss line up
@@seanysalami Haha everyone is indeed, though Sekrio is the most underrated I think it's top 3 to be honest and it deserved a DLC :/ but hey maybe serkio 2 lol.
Fortisax might be my least favorite remembrance boss in the game, god do I despise the ancient dragon fights in general, and having a reskinned one as a main boss was painful 😅 so yeah, good choice for the underrated list
The reason why i hate fortisaax is because of his claw attacks having lightning after effects that hurt you and how it feels like i cant hit the head and only the legs so i barely see what is going on in his fight On another note i actually find the blood starved beast to be rather underrated because of the atmosphere of the fight is very unique (that being entirely discomforting) and i dont find the fight itself to be that annoying, still just terrifying
@seanysalami her first phase is deacons but worse, and her second is spamming magic and using spirit sunmons, not my idea of fun but to each their own.
Gwyn is actually terrible. It might be the very worst fight in DS1 from a PURELY mechanical perspective. Yes the lore and arena and music and the fact that it's the final fight in the game is great and all but his moveset is horrid. He's super spammy, has like 4 attacks and 2 his attacks have zero wind up. Also ER doesn't hold a candle to Bloodborne sorry buddy🫡
