Right?! I used to sew small plush (handstitched) as a kid during the Beanie Baby craze and I did create my own patterns a few times, but my favorite was a lobster that I patterned and churned out in a single afternoon for a close friend's birthday. But having to pattern those things, not to scale, and figure out how many stitches and rows, plus what kind of stitches, is just so crazy to me. I've always been someone who if they can see it, they can figure out how to make it, but this is the first thing that genuinely intimidates me. 😅
The "I'm sorry" above the mouse really tickles my funny bone for some reason. Such a lovely series you've come up with here! Cheers and much love to you dear, keep being your awesome self!
I see this series has been updated and I'm _in_ I genuinely love the combo of crafting and pokemon. This is so soothing. I'm drawing a new Pokemon trainer every day in October (for my friends) and this has been the background to my art process. Thank you so much for this.
Omg...I never thought about Onyx being the human centipede of geodudes! Noooo! That idea will live in the recesses my brain waiting for a free moment to terrorize me, so thanks for that. 😂 I can't unsee the castform tatas. 😂 Since it's a weather pokemon I saw them as cloud puff "feet." I always wonder if adding a few more puffs would look better or worse. 😅 I've never given carnivine enough credit, but it looks so great. Female nidoran are blue and the males are purple. Nidoran are one of my childhood favorites. Poison capybara/bunny/rat. ❤ She turned out so cute!
Your excitement at seeing that grumpy cupcake rivals my excitement when I see kittens :P Nindoran was totally my fave! I'm a sucker for rodent-looking critters
This is always fun to watch! I think it was fine to have chaos not evolve right away and have her as Nidoran battle a bit longer :) Can't decide between her and Camerupt as my favourite this time! As pretty as embroidery looks, I also choose safety eyes as often as possible :') I usually add a layer of gesso on them and then paint the eyes with acrylics so that they aren't just black dots.
Bagon appears to be missing the little yellow circles on her 'ears'. I Adore Nidoran. She turned out so cute and I the way you did Camerupt is so clever! I learned something with the way you made the legs and the body into one thing.
I wait for this series to come out with such LOVE AND EAGERNESS! I also soooo understand when you wanna hold onto an evolution like Nidoran for a minute, no quarrel with that at all :)
I loved Carnivine! I love the fun you had with him chomping Nidoran, and I generally love that you made it so he could open and close his mouth. Peak engineering right there
@@autumnphillips151 no one that does crochet unfortunately. I'll put on some Scott's Thoughts or Jrose11 on like a podcast while I'm doing dishes or other chores. Batel the Assistant has a few videos too.
Thank you for keeping this going! I've actually started my own Evolve Every Level run of Diamond after being inspired by this - without the crochet element, ami projects kill my fingers so badly - and it's hugely fun to see your progress with each episode. And hugely inspiring!
i get so excited every time i see this series pop up! i love the care and detail you put in these videos from the editing to the lovely little guys you make. Keep up the amazing work!!! Also im actually glad you didnt evolve crisis at that time, i think it helped the pacing a lot and just gave more time for me to chill out and just watch you play.
I love this series so much! I would love to see every pokemon game done like this. It's so much fun. I can't wait to see the lake shiny evolve at every level!
I look so forward to this series. I’m a huge Pokémon fan and it’s so cool seeing Pokémon that never get mercy turned into adorable little amigurumi plushes!
I found this channel through your first pokemon challenges, and its become one of my favorites to watch, both crochet tutorials and pokemon alike, and I don't even crochet (though its inspired me to try it out sometime). I'm always so excited to see a new episode in this series! Camerupt was my favorite from today, it made me appreciate its design a lot more than I had.
I fell in love with Carnivine during Brilliant Diamond after one became a mainstay on my team as I built a squad based around BattleBots and he was my perfect Lock-Jaw. All the crochet mons look amazing and except for one of Shroomishs eyes being a little wonky (just makes her unique and special) I think she's a perfect little baby shroom
I was excited to see the Nido, I think they're so cute! But I was just as teary and pleased as you when it decided to go mushpuff! Shroomish FTW y'all!
I can't believe how much you made me appreciate Carnivine, it went from forgettable to such a cool pokemon! Nidoran and Camerupt came out great as well! I'm looking forward to the shiny you'll catch, it'll be fun to see it evolve. But I hope you will still crochet its regular forms because as you mentioned having a complete set of pokemon (at leest until a certain gen) sometime in the future would be so cool.
I love this series so much! They always turn out so cute. As a fellow crocheter, I would suggest clear safety eyes with color rings. You could even paint the clear ones so the eye colors match even better!
I love watching these!! I would be so curious to see what would happen if instead of them evolving at EVERY level, whatever pokemon it randomly evolves into you have to level it up to what it's next one would be. Like say you have Piplup, you have to get it to level 16 as if it was for Prinplup but it evolves into a Geodude or something lol. Some might take longer/shorter which would allow you to have more time with them! And if it DOESN'T evolve anymore you're stuck with it and have to get a new team member 😉
nidoran turned out so very cute! and shroomish's face is perfect imo -- she looks like she's cooking up some trouble. chaos has had an excellent evolutionary chain so far, super interested to see what she turns into next. love this series, looking forward to the next chapter.
i have a tip! in the options menu (same button as going to your bag or looking at your pokemon), theres a setting for speeding up the text so it doesnt crawl though every letter. love the idea and the series, looking forward to seeing more! :)
Amazing work ❤️ I love these videos, can't wait for next one 🤩 I love both the fun watching you play the game, and watching you turn simple strings into art pieces. (PS : You were right to prevent Chaos to evolve, this kept the balance between the game and the crochet)
Bagon turned out pretty good, the jaw looked alright! Your excitement for completing an evolutionary line is a huge mood - I get the same feelings. Castform is really just kind of one of those forgettable Pokemon, honestly. Carnivine's such a derpy terror-plant, it's hilarious. The Nidoran lines are pretty fun, and it would be interesting to see you make the rest - just remember that there are two different Nidorans, and you still need to make the boy version, lol. You almost looked ready to shed tears of joy upon getting Shroomish, you wanted to make Shroomish back in your Generation Three Crochet-Em-All! This is a fun series, keep it going! (Edit after staring at your "Pokedex" at the end: I should try this. I'd started a "Gotta Knit 'Em All!" series once, but I didn't get very far, and besides this was back when I was still...I guess inexperienced with my craft. Like, something as complex as a Pokemon needs a Level Seven in Knit, and I was probably only at Level Four. I should be high enough level now, though.)
You're my favourite from today! Always so adorably excited about small things! But the camerupt is fabulous too. :)) I'm hoping for literally any eeveelution, and also chandelure because _shapes._
I like these videos so much and always look forward to the next part. I hope you continue doing them for a while because I'd love to see a Pumpkaboo or Sylveon someday 😊
"Let's pound Pidgey." "Please stop hardening, it's very unsettling." "Apparently there's good money in beating up grown men." Hehe the things said during Pokemon out of context 😅
You absolutely amaze me! I Love watching you make these little characters! I am just learning to make I am just learning to make normal animals. 🤪 I’ve far made a turtle with some mistakes. 🤪😊💜
I love this series! I just finished crocheting my first pokemon amigurumi (Cyndaquil). I'd love to make that camerupt, it turned out beautiful :D Great job!
I personally love the safety eye look. I think shroomish's face might look less harsh with a lighter color... like a medium gray... the black is so stark, and bold, and in the art, the face lines are thin. Just a thought.
