This bus was retired and scrapped in 2019.
From 1997 to 1999 Stadtwerke Bonn GmbH (SWB) procured a total of 50 MB O 405 N2 buses.
Most of the buses had a ZF transmission, some buses were equipped with Voith transmissions.
The O 405 N2 buses replaced buses of type MB O 305, MB O 405 and MAN SL 202.
Between 2011 and 2020 the O 405 N2 buses were sold and replaced by MB O 530 Citaro Facelift and MAN NL 273 Lion's City.
