How did you find the top end with the LS50's and Plinius? I was thinking it may be a little on the bright side of neutral? Just considering the LS50 Meta to go with my Plinius 9200. I can't handle bright though.
Don't have a Chord Qutest comparison, but have a Hugo 2 one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_CqI4ZH1oF0.html which is pretty much the same as the qutest minus the portability. I would probably go for an Yggy GS if prices are the same, and with the Hugo 2 if it is lower or you need portability.
@@TheAudiofool i went to listen to pass xa30.8 and gryphon 120 integrated. I think the gryphon sounded great for its cost. Cheaper than pass but wider sound stage. Though i liked the pass 250.8 more but this setup would end up costing alot more than gryphon.
@@TheAudiofool thanks for the response. I was keen on the aegir due to reviews of the lush mids but unsure about the low wattage and comments around bass. Watched your hautonga review, googled to do quick research which then showed some forums saying the m6sprx was nicer than the hautonga. My speakers are open baffle and so i think i may need a more powerful amp than aegir to control the bass
@@haohuynh4405 If the wattage is enough for you, I think the aegir is a great amp and never found it wanting for bass. Though I do understand if some would like it a bit louder and with more definition. I've never liked MF having heard the M3si, M5si, M6si, and had extended time with the M6PRE/PRX in my room.
