What a cracking video Rachel, you certainly have a brilliant gift for creating music. I think you could make a real thundering track armed just with a spatula doing some eggs on a gas hob. Brilliant! Such a creative mind.
I'm absolutely in love with these plugins. Especially Infiltrator! Have it on almost every channel. The others are great too, but I rarely use Duck. LFO Tool and Shaperbox do everything the same, but better! And you have much finer control. But the big point is price, LFO Tool 50$, Shaperbox 100$ and Duck 22$. So if you're looking for a nice budget plugin that does the job well, this is it for you. But if you can wait and grind some more $, I would suggest going for the LFO Tool or Shaperbox.
Infiltrator, Duck & Texture are in every one of my projects these days. There are few plugins that can be pushed so far and still sound great... Devious Machines are easily in my top 5 developers. Awesome channel, keep up the great work!
I honestly didn't think twice about Texture, but now will definitely check it out after watching this. Love this review style, really shows the versatility of the plugin. And the resulting track was great. Subbed!

The final track was absolutely excellent... right up my street. I'm here because I've just discovered that Infiltrator 2 exists and I'm researching before I - inevitably - bite the bullet.
Making a track from only sampled sounds! Nice.. The first I ever heard of anyone doing that were Depeche' Mode on - People are People many MANY years ago. Now going to sit back and enjoy this...Blimey.. Where did those 12 n a half minutes go?? That was great. I love what ya did. Like/ Subscribed and off to see what other content you've created now.. Interesting. Comparable plugins include manipulator & gatekeeper from polyverse. Gatekeeper can duck, gate, and has a stellar delay. Manipulator does pitch shifting and so much more. I’ve heard good things about infiltrator 2, but I’ve been using shaperbox from cable guys. Texture might be the only one I don’t have a comparable plug-in for. Great video though.
These plugins were awesome! Need to have a serious think about these now :D Loved what you were able to do with the samples, and loved the tune you made. Big thumbs up for the video editing for the song part too, very inspiring! Need to get back into video making asap.
On the strength of this video, I purchased the Devious Machines pack. All of a sudden, I am taking my tunes to the level I've needed for some time. The Infiltrator 2 plugin has blown me away!!!! I've spent all weekend revisiting started beats, adding it to major group busses and then recording the output in a separate audio channel. I am creating minutes and minutes of magic dust for tunes that I'd pretty much given up on. Thanks for this video man! this is the plugin I've been looking for since the NI Core FX plugins became defunct! and it's a zillion times (real figure 😂) better. Peace 🤟🏻

The pitchshifter plugin is going to be quite good but I would keep the number of bins to 8192 any higher and it would take longer to process the sound possibly crashing out.

Hmm. It's a bit like other erm... Creative plugins like Izotope Stutter Edit & BreakTweaker as well as the Kilohearts & CableGuys stuff. I guess if you're into those, this is for you. Which means this is for me, frankly. I've made a hi hat part more like the rhythmic sound of a delay in one track. It still works, I can report. Hmm...
Hi Rachel, thank You for the excellent video! It looks like You are using Zoom H6 recorder? Have You experienced any handling noises when monitoring audio through headphones? I mean, you hear them when holding the device or pressing buttons etc. but not when You listen the actual recording. Both microphones, X/Y and the round one, seems to have similar issue. I was just wondering if this is happening only on my unit or is this a 'feature' in all the H6 units. I have tired different headphones but it doesn't seem to be headphone related issue.
Hmmmmm ah that sounds like a pain - I think you always need to be sensitive when recording a sound not to capture wind or whatever with sudden movements but generally with this one if I’m still and there’s no wind it’s pretty good - I would try and be extra still with it and see how it goes - if it’s still under warranty maybe send it back to try another x
