The Disney one just hits the nostalgia from coming home from school putting in any Disney dvd and just seeing that version of the start up was just perfect
The 2000s before 2009-2010 was like living in Post 90s almost but like made to be more nostalgic. Basically a generation where we saw technology and the world change dramatically in just 10 years. And here we are almost 25 years later and the feeling still remains the same. The thing is too is it’s been so long, it doesn’t feel like that long ago. Time is too fast.
“This DVD is enhanced with Disney DVD Fast Play. Select the menu button at any time. Fast Play will begin in a moment...” Every Disney movie before 2010
What scared us all as kids and made us panic to find the controller: *THIS DISNEY DVD IS ENHANCED WITH DISNEY’S FAST PLAY. YOUR MOVIE AND A SELECTION OF BONUS FEATURES WILL BEGIN AUTOMATICALLY. TO BYPASS FAST PLAY, PRESS THE MAIN MENU BUTTON AT ANY TIME. FAST PLAY WILL BEGIN IN A MOMENT.*
I'd just start having a tantrum when I couldn't find it but then my grandpa would start yelling at me to shut up for the ten billionth time. And if I talked back I got the slipper from either him or my mother for being a rude little shit.
@@teruterutheloveofmylife2679 Lmfaoooo when I was little my mom had a Windows XP desktop when the startup came on i cried Lmfaooo! I love XP. Nokia is now i remember. Windows Vista and 7 are the best!!!
@@MayBuggsChannelYT same.. nearly in 2007 Dang I wish I never grew up back then as an elementary kid I was responsible, good grades, friends While now I’m still acting childish on my own and now it’s a complex of mine. Hecc.
The 2000s really felt like a time of it's own. I was born in Sept 2002. I see my parents put in their CDs into the car to play their songs. My dad rent CDs and we watch movies on those bulky laptops. I played pinball on my mom's nokia N95. I smacked my toddler hands on our bulky ass TV when the screen goes static just like my mom did. I rode my tricycle with my neighbour's son. We both got a terrible tan but we're just kids. I remember ruining some empty CDs because they're like rainbows in my hands. The songs at the time were so danceable. You hear them in malls. Malls were so great, and their arcades aren't a scam but actually filled with enjoyable games to play. My aunts and uncles were pretty much in their early 20s so my experience with PS2-4 were from watching them. Watching movies on cable, whatever they put on that's okay for me to watch as well.
i remember when i got the play doh ice cream one and ate it and thought it was salty ice cream and liked it. woke up a couple of hours later puking and in the hospital 👍 good times
I was an early 2010s kid, so many of these hit really hard. I grew up with 2000s tech because all the new stuff was too expensive. The only game console we had was a Wii, and the family computer. I remember playing all the Lego Star Wars games on the Wii every day with my family. 100% completed like 4 times over. Even when we got our first Xbox in 2015, I still played the Wii the same amount if not more. In fact, I still have that very same Wii to this day.
I feel the same way about 90's tech, since I was born in 1999. My earliest computer experience was on either Windows 95 or 98. My first game console was the Sega Genesis. We had a old, well at the time it was actually fairly new, but still old 90's CRT TV, and we also had for some reason a really old ass 70's or 80's TV, mostly made of wood, which made it unique. In addition to all of my 2000's era cartoons, I also watched stuff like Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, The Powerpuff Girls, and Dexter's Laboratory.
Burnt Orange technology is taking over us today. So many children don’t really play games that we used to and are constantly glued to their devices, so it’s just kinda sad
@LatinOscar Ikr... i feel like we were able to enjoy the more simple things. Like... i was happy because my parents gave me a ball and me and my friends could play with it. Or when one of my classmates got a phone that was able to connect to wifi. We downloaded Badland on it and took turns every recess. He was actually the only one with a touchscreen phone. Now almost every kid has it, and most of them have the opportunity to get almost everything they desire. I'm talking about things like television, bike, ski, pc, console or a pet. It's harder to be happy because of something you already have or could easily get. Like, _we too weren't happy everyday,_ _just because we had a place to stay,_ _that we were properly fed_ _or about the loving family we had._ (i'm sorry, i couldn't help myself when i noticed it rhymes :b) Not everyone though. But our grandparents probably were.
