Great video - and huge props for starting with Joey. Landreth. The man is a taste and phrasing genius. You totally captured a lot of the vibe, and some super tasty playing. I think he was running a lot less bass on the gain pedals or amp - probably because he’s used to being in baritone tuning and dialling in tones that work live in the trio with the bass and kick. His Deluxe 61 tone and stacked with the Troubadour were less gainy and less bass-heavy than the QC tones. Subbed and looking forward to the next one. I’m all tube amps and pedals but have been thinking about a QC for certain use cases.
@@onenotesolo256 thanks so much for the feedback! That’s is definitely a good point in the bass, was trying to keep things even for both standard tuning and the pitched sounds. Will maybe spend more time adjusting the gain stacks as well. Also coming from the same mindset, using the QC for traditional tones mostly so figured this would be a good start. Thanks again!
Nice vid, love watching tone recreation videos like there. BTW you can double click on the devices to turn them off and on so not having to slide the mouse as much.
