This is probably the most chilling thing that will stick with me for a long time. The bear absorbing the voice of its victim and hearing her final cries before death as part of the creature's roar was such a brilliant and macabre idea. While the movie itself wasn't scary like a horror film, THIS part disturbed me right to the bone. Well done sound mixing and idea brainstorming.
There’s a creature in Dungeons and Dragons called an Owlbear. Literally a bear body with an owl face and feathery arms. My party is in a castle with one chained up in a room, giving itself away with a roar/screech. I couldn’t think of a good way to represent that sound until now lol
This creature is probably the most terrifying thing in any horror movie I've seen. The fact that it's roar is the sound of someone crying out in their final moments is just chilling, it makes my stomach churn. Incredible.
This skull of Mutant bear traumatized the modern human. Spreading out it's horror scene heard Cass Sheppard voice, it mangled the skull in twice frontal throughout his wounded back, targeting around the mutant bear by Anya Thorensen's deadly weapon shooter.
The bear’s skull has another skull which is where you can see the eye. The eye is of some woman I forgot the name of, but she seems to be the survivors friends. I think it was the person who got taken away when they were guarding in the woods.
Awesome mutant bear and chilling, and if you like this, There is another movie shot back in the late 70's called Prophecy, where a mutant bear is very much like this one, right down to the look - It holds up fairly well - The movie was pretty good for it's time (scarier than Annihilation) and I think the Bear was better too, even with it's practical effects.
I make it understand their forgotten bizarre movie, This bear will only have the forming as choose their musculoskeletal by Guardians (2017), they used the CGI parts of bear head adding, Reusing Cassie's skull was conjoined back as adjust it the Ursidae model.
@@ieathands2248 well mainstream creepypasta has made the wendigo and skinwalker almost completely the same, the mimicry is the only thing that ties it to either of those creatures. Amd can we please note that niether of those creatures sport fucking animal skulls! The skinwalker isnt even a creature its a shaman using black magic.
i look up what is the most scariest monster the bear was 7/7 number 1 was Pennywise IT 2 was Xenomorph - Alien. 3 was The Alien - The Thing. 4 was The Babadook - The Babadook. now the scariest ones 5 is The Entity - It Follows. 6 is Death Angels - A Quiet Place. and 7 well you know the bear witch it should be 7 you know yo the makeup arist and the computer generated freaking killed it on the bear cause he is freaking scary if i had watch this first ill be shaking right now

It was only directed for Alex Garland, making the creatures by a design works for good quality as Natalie Portman. for Ex Machina will be built grudgingly, create the sound edits about 3 years early.
The bear from the movie Annihilation. It's the creepiest bear ever made in a sci-fi horror. When it growls it lets out a mimicry cry of what seems to be the victims of it's attacks. It sounds almost like the lady that was first attacked by the bear and dragged off to be eaten in the movie. The way it looks is also grotesquely disturbing... it's as if the flesh on it's face slowly rotted away to reveal a bony bear skull that is also fused together with a human skull on the side of it's cheek and it seems like it's using a single human eye fused from the human skull as it's own eye because the bear's eyes are just hollow sockets. Very hard to describe how disturbing this bear is, you're gonna have to look it up for yourself if you haven't seen it already.
