Hi Jim. I’m a huge Springsteen fan and have all three. I didn’t do the level of critical analysis you do so well, but the Mofi knocked me out. For me it was the clarity, soundstage and immediacy that won me over. I heard the sibilance as well. I think that comes with the clarity. For me the weakest of the three is the first press. Always look forward to your content. Thank you. Bottom line: What an incredible album!

I prefer the 33⅓ rpm version. I can understand the audio benefit of 45rpm, but I like to listen to an album how it was originally released.
