Wow, we are at Part 5 and pretty much this brings this series to and end. There might be one or two small updates in the future but at this point of the project I had some time to really dig in and get it completed!
I Hope you are all doing great and staying safe! Some new content and new projects are on their way. One of the new projects should be really cool make sure you watch out for it!
Regards,
Mike

@@100ThingsIDo I don’t know why, but there’s something warmer to analog mixing than mixing digitally. I think it also takes more skill, especially when you have to maintain your own gear. That in itself is an almost forgotten art form

Great to a project with a Sound Workshop Console. I have two series 30s. One is active and used in the studio everyday. The other is in storage waiting to be restored. The one in the studio has a problem where three of the VU meters kind of float up and down. I'm being told this is a power supply issue. But I'm not super tech kind of guy. Just a musician with a nice studio I built for my use. Love these boards though. Just a great sounding console. Please post more videos.

@@100ThingsIDo - did you have to get docs on it or are you just diving in and figuring it out. I ask because i'm working on plans to create my own for a 24x8x2 soundcraft spirit studio board. using stuff found on ebay for the meters...and then hoping to add an RTA freq display. Want to be able to take outputs from inserts and then make the RTA switchable thru an arduino or something like that. or maybe just use a raspberry pi chip/board and do an LCD output to a 7" screen. but it's gonna take me a year or more to do part time. So, this is why your project interests me...I had hoped your bridge worked and was looking forward to seeing it lit...or at least seeing the board in your studio tour...which i didn't see.

LM3XX I can't remember the exact model.. Foolishly I did not take a photo of the chips before I reassembled the meter bridge.
